摘要: A shape measurement device and a shape measurement method according to the present invention measure, for first and second distance measurement units which are disposed so as to be opposed to each other with a measurement object to be measured interposed therebetween and each measure a distance to the measurement object, first and second displacements of the first and second distance measurement units in an opposition direction, and obtain, as a shape of the measurement object, a thickness of the measurement object in the opposition direction, the thickness being corrected with the measured first and second displacements, based on first and second distance measurement results measured by the first and second distance measurement units, respectively.

摘要: A device for detecting a foreign object attached on a surface of a sheet-like medium, comprising a static electricity providing part (A) for providing static electrical charges, a medium transporting part (B) for transporting a medium under detection, and a static electricity sensor and identifier part (C). The medium transporting part comprises a static electricity receiving unit and a static electricity absorbing unit sequentially connected. The static electricity receiving unit is connected to the static electricity providing part (A), and the static electricity absorbing unit is connected to the static electricity sensor and identifier part (C). The static electricity receiving unit is configured to transfer the static electrical charges obtained from the static electricity providing part (A) to the medium under detection. The static electricity absorbing unit is configured to absorb the static electrical charges of the medium under detection.

摘要: A sensor system and method of reducing plasma-induced communication inhibition for a main antenna includes using auxiliary antennas for detecting a density of plasma that affects operation of the main antenna, and re-orienting an electromagnetic field around the main antenna in response to the density detected to reduce effect of the plasma on the main antenna. The auxiliary antennas are also operable for data link communication and switchable such if the density of the plasma inhibits receipt or sending of signals by one of the auxiliary antennas, another one of the auxiliary antennas may be used for data link communication.

摘要: A thickness detection device for sheet-type medium includes a fixing frame, a reference shaft and a detection assembly shaft. A reference roller is fixedly sleeved on the reference shaft. At least one detection roller is provided on the detection assembly shaft, and the detection roller is in an elastic contact with the reference roller. The detection roller is sleeved on the detection assembly shaft by a bracket, the bracket has an elongated hole through which the bracket is sleeved on the detection assembly shaft, an elastic element is provided between an end of the elongated hole and the detection assembly shaft, and the elastic element enables the detection assembly shaft to elastically maintain a certain distance from the end of the elongated hole. Thus, thickness signal obtained is not interfered by banknote displacements in other directions, and thickness detection of the full banknote can be achieved.

摘要: A device for film thickness measurement and a method for film thickness measurement are disclosed. The device includes a planar indenter, a collecting unit and a processing unit. The planar indenter includes a base plate and a piezoelectric film layer. The collecting unit includes a plurality of collecting circuits evenly distributed above the piezoelectric film layer and spaced from each other. The collecting circuits are used for collecting current signals generated when the piezoelectric film layer deforms at positions corresponding to the collecting circuits. The processing unit is used for calculating a film thickness of the film sample to be measured based on the current signals collected by each of the collecting circuits.

摘要: A system and method for determining a change in a thickness and temperature of a surface of a material are disclosed herein. The system and the method are usable in a thermal protection system of a space vehicle, such as an aeroshell of a space vehicle. The system and method may incorporate micro electric sensors arranged in a ladder network and capacitor strip sensors. Corrosion or ablation causes a change in an electrical property of the sensors. An amount of or rate of the corrosion or the ablation and a temperature of the material is determined based on the change of the electrical property of the sensors.

摘要: Techniques are described to determine a thickness of individual layers of a plurality of metal layers that include a first metal layer disposed on a polymer material and a second metal layer disposed on the first layer, such that the first layer is between the polymer material and the second layer. A measurement device may determine a resistance of the plurality of metal layers and calculate (e.g., estimate) a thickness of the individual layers based on the resistance of the individual layers and based on a resistivity of individual metals used in the plurality of metal layers. The measurement device may determine whether the individual thicknesses are within predetermined thickness ranges to determine whether to pass a quality control test.
