    摘要: Multispectral photographs preregistered for projection are made by reproducing a first set of multispectral photographs, taken by a multispectral camera, to provide a second set of photographs all on the same scale. The photographs of the second set are simultaneously projected on a viewing screen, and their positions are adjusted so that the projected images are accurately superimposed. The photographs of the second set are reproduced in their adjusted positions to provide a third set of photographs on a single strip of film. The photographs of the third set are preregistered. A series of sets of photographs preregistered in this manner can be projected with great ease, since no adjustment of the projector between successive projections is necessary.

A first dichroic filter reflects the first illumination light and the first projection light. A first incident angle of the first illumination light with respect to the first dichroic filter is different from a second incident angle of the first projection light with respect to the first dichroic filter. The notch filter attenuates light in a first wavelength band including a boundary between a wavelength band of the first illumination light and a wavelength band of the second illumination light.

    摘要: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, apparatus and system of producing a color image using four or more primary colors. The apparatus, according to some demonstrative embodiments of the invention, may include four or more transmissive spatial light modulators to modulate four or more, respective, primary color light beams in accordance with four or more, respective, primary color image components of the color image to produce four or more, respective, modulated light beams; and a beam combiner to combine the four or more modulated light beams into a combined light beam carrying the color image. The beam combiner may include, for example, an X-cube to jointly direct three of the four or more modulated light beams; and a selective color rotator to rotate the polarization of two of the three modulated light beams, while maintaining the polarization of a third one of the three modulated light beams.     摘要: An image recording apparatus records an image of an original on a photosensitive recording medium using a plurality of intermediate sheets. The image of the original includes a fine line image, such as character, symbol, and a half-tone image, such as picture. To form a latent image of the fine line image on the recording medium, a light sheilding image corresponding exactly to the fine line image is printed on one of the intermediate sheets while completely masking an area where the half-tone image exists. On the other hand, to form a latent image of the half-tone image of a particular color, a light shielding image corresponding to the half-tone image of such a color is printed on another intermediate sheet, and another light sheilding image is printed thereon with a thicker line than the original fine line image. Accordingly, toner powder or ink needed for producing the intermediate sheets can be saved and thus cost for producing the same is reduced.

    摘要: An automatic registration system for four-color image stripping employs in one embodiment a first punching press having a grid pattern die on which a "MYLAR" sheet carrier with desired windows is laid, and, on this, single color images are laid at the respective windows; registration holes are then punched at selectable positions keying the single color images to the carrier by use of a correspondingly-grid-patterned transparent punch holder providing good visual access for selection of positions in the grid pattern at which to mount punches, and a ram which drives the punches against compression-spring bias. Following perforation of the registration holes in the Mylar sheet carrier, each single color image is removed and matched with the remaining single color images of the four-color set to which it belongs, with appropriate locator pins inserted in prepunched holes customarily supplied in each for the color separation stage keying them together. Next, in this embodiment the remaining single color images of the set are power-punched with a second punching press to perforate them all at positions corresponding to registration holes perforated in the one single color image of the set by the first punching press. Following this, the single color images may then be individually placed by relating each in turn through the registration holes to the Mylar sheet carrier windows, at which register pins are provided for the purpose; use of a single punching press for performing the entire operation is also disclosed.
