摘要: A battery module according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a cell stack including a plurality of battery cells that are stacked, a pair of end plates, and a buffer interposed at least between the battery cells or between the battery cells and the end plates. The buffer includes a first region having contact surfaces that are in contact with the battery cells, and a second region that is connected to the first region via a fluid flow path. The first region is filled with a fluid, and the second region includes a fluid filler that is connected to the fluid flow path and is filled with the fluid, and a volume adjuster that is in contact with at least a part of the fluid filler and adjusts a volume of the fluid filler in response to a pressure of the fluid filling the fluid filler.

摘要: A manufacturing method for a flexible battery including injecting an electrolyte into an opening of an exterior material accommodating an electrode assembly contained therein and impregnating the electrode assembly with the electrolyte through a pressure difference inside the exterior material; and a sealing step of sealing the opening. Because the electrode assembly provided in the battery can be completely impregnated with an electrolyte, no spot occurs on the surface of a negative electrode filled with the electrolyte. In addition, the flexible battery can prevent or minimize deterioration of physical characteristics that the battery is required to exhibit, even if repeated bending occurs.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a battery, which has a battery housing and at least one cell module, the cell module being introduced into the battery housing to form an intermediate space between a wall of the battery housing and the cell module, and a heat conducting medium then being introduced by an introduction device into the intermediate space. One operating mode is selected from a first operating mode of the introduction device and a second operating mode of the introduction device and is used for introducing the heat conducting medium, with the introduction of the heat conducting medium in the first operating mode occurring with an introduction volume flow set to a preset volume flow and in the second operating mode occurring with an introduction pressure set to a preset pressure.

摘要: An automatic and passive battery fluid maintenance system maintains the fluid levels in a battery system by replenishing water as the water is lost from the battery. A reservoir is used to contain a volume of fluid and is mounted above the batteries. Fluid from the reservoir flows into a distribution manifold through a flow regulator. From the manifold the fluid is distributed a vent plug at each battery. The vent plugs are configured to control create a backpressure in the fluid line when the battery fluid level is at an optimum level. As a result of the backpressure, fluid does not flow into the battery through the vent plug. When the fluid in the battery drops below the optimum level, the backpressure is reduced, allowing water to flow until the fluid level of the battery again is at the optimum level.
