    摘要: A dual function solid state relay for a motor control includes four solid state switches and 6 terminals, wherein a set of 2 switches are for up operation allowing a current flow through a load in one direction and the other set of 2 switches are for down operation allowing the current flow through the load in he opposite direction. Out of 2 switches during up operation, one switch connects Vnull to one end of the load and the other switch connects a Ground to the other end of the load. During down operation mode, the operation is similar to the up operation except that the voltage polarities connected to the each end of the load is reversed. Out of 6 terminals, 2 are for up and down inputs and 2 are for the outputs and the remaining 2 are for Vnull connection and Ground connection. With the addition of input signal control circuit to the dual functional solid state relay, a reversible solid state control device can be produced. The reversible solid state control device requires only one input signal from a push button switch for the both, up and down, operations. Structures of various silicon power switches are shown to connect power supply and Ground connections electronically to a load circuit.

The motor can be stopped when the door reaches selected positions other than the open or closed position, holding the door in a partially open position.

A voltage regulator circuit is also provided for applying the output of the permanent magnet alternator having at least one stator mounted coil to a load, and includes a rectifier circuit having an output and an input adapted to be connected to a stator mounted coil for converting alternating potential to a time varying single potential on the output, a current control circuit connected between the output of the rectifier circuit and the load, an instantaneous voltage sensing circuit connected with the output of the rectifier circuit and the current control circuit for measuring the instantaneous voltage appearing on the output and for causing the current control circuit to assume its conductive state when the instantaneous voltage is above a predetermined amount, and a regulator control circuit for sensing the voltage applied to the load by the current control circuit and for causing the current control circuit to assume its non conductive state when the voltage applied to the load is above a desired level and for shortening the time during which the current control circuit is in its conductive state as the voltage applied to the load approaches the predetermined level.

    摘要: An electric vacuum cleaner according to the present invention boosts a voltage supplied to a motor-driven blower through the use of a boost converter circuit with a DC power supply as a drive source to thereby increase the output of the motor-driven blower so as to enhance dust suction power. The present invention provides, as operation modes of such an electric vacuum cleaner, an operation mode for boosting power inputted to the motor-driven blower with the boost converter circuit to thereby increase dust suction power, and an operation mode for deactivating the boost converter circuit. Consequently, the boost converter circuit is used to enable the boosting of the power inputted to the motor-driven blower only when really required, and a loss in power produced due to the mounting of the boost converter circuit can be reduced. Thus, the service hour per charge for a battery can be set to a level equivalent to an electric vacuum cleaner equipped with no boost converter circuit.

    摘要: An automated garage door closing device for a remote controlled overhead garage door wherein the device is mounted on one of a pair of parallel tracks receiving rollers suitably mounted on the outer edges of the door panels, the device including a switch housing containing a switch for the leading edge of the door, and a circuit located in a second housing adjacent the garage floor and including an interval timer acting to close the door after a predetermined period of time, an audible alarm which is activated upon the garage door reaching the fully open position, a switch deactivating the entire unit when the garage door is deliberately to be left in the fully open position, and a flexible switch arm extending through the switch housing to a position to engage the upper edge of the garage door panel and acts to activate the automated closing device. A recycle delay circuit in the timing circuit acts to deactivate the unit upon interruption of the door closing operation if door movement is reversed and returned to the open position, and a sensor providing a sensor beam adjacent the garage floor to measure the time interval of interruption of the sensor beam to determine if a vehicle has exited or entered the garage or a person or animal has interrupted the beam. Also, a carbon monoxide detector is inserted in the circuit to provide activation of the door opening cycle if the level of carbon monoxide reaches a dangerous level.
