    摘要: A stereoscopic display device according to the present disclosure includes: an image display element that displays a plurality of viewpoint images; an optical element that is opposed to the image display element, and outputs a plurality of light beams corresponding to the respective viewpoint images toward respective viewpoint positions; and an optical filter that is disposed between the optical element and the plurality of view point positions, and controls diffusion angles of the light beams outputted from the optical element in such a manner that the diffusion angles fall within a predetermined angular range decided on the basis of the plurality of viewpoint positions.

A stereoscopic display screen includes: an optical component, configured to provide an optical signal of which the light intensity is lower than the light intensity of video information; a transparent display component, configured to display the video information; and a space imaging frame component, configured to form a hollow enclosed cavity which is visible from the front and has a rear end sealed by the transparent display component. A foreground stage imaging area is formed in an internal region of the space imaging frame component, the space imaging frame component forms, at a position opposite the optical component, a virtual space imaging frame component which takes an axial plane of the transparent display component as a mirror symmetrical plane, and a virtual background stage imaging area is formed in the virtual space imaging frame component.

    摘要: Lightfield displays for generating a 3D image comprise a 2D array of hogels. Each hogel comprises a 2D array of one or more pixels for generating light rays, and a light distribution control arrangement for controlling in 2D the angular distribution of the light rays from the array which are emitted by the hogel. The 2D array of each hogel is arranged to generate light rays which correspond to an elementary image assigned to the hogel, with each elementary image having a central axis which passes through a center of the image and extends perpendicular to the image. A plurality of the hogels have different lateral offsets between the light distribution control arrangement and the central axis of the respective elementary image.

    摘要: The present invention is an improvement in dynamic autostereoscopic visual displays emitting a field of light beams into an observer viewing space from a hogel array formed at a transparent projection screen surface having refractive beam expanding functions. The transparent screen is illuminated from the rear by an X-Y array of projectors focused on the screen, where each hogel location is illuminated by a local group of multiple projectors within the larger array. The brightness, color and direction of the light beams emitted by each hogel are controlled by one image point in each member of the local projector group that illuminates that hogel. The invention enables autostereoscopic display systems with compact dimensions and high overall resolution and brightness by combining the output of an array of small projectors with lower resolution and brightness on a single projection screen.
