摘要: Provided is a method for artificial rearing of porcupine pufferfish fries in indoor cement ponds. The method includes the following steps: indoor cement pond preparation, release hatched larvae into the indoor cement pond, feed and manage the larvae at different sub-stages of the fry rearing stages, water quality management during fry rearing, separate ponding of fries based on size of the fries, and transfer the fries to net cages or outdoor ponds when the fries reach a minimum length. The indoor cement pond preparation step may include disinfecting the pond and regulating the water quality. During the rearing stage, the method may include stimulating anti-stress physiological response of the larvae. The method may transfer fries with an average total length of more than 2.0 cm into net cages or outdoor ponds for aquaculture after 45 days of the rearing stage.

摘要: An abundance of specific species of phytoplankton in a phytoplankton group in which a plurality of kinds coexists is calculated in a simple manner. Based on a reference sample intensity ratio r0, a reference sample total fluorescence intensity I0, and an existing quantity K0 of specific species of phytoplankton, an intensity ratio rd of other species of plankton is calculated. An analysis sample that is expected to have similarity with the reference sample is irradiated with the excitation light, an intensity of fluorescence emitted from the analysis sample is measured in each of wavelength bands A and B, and an intensity ratio r is calculated. A total fluorescence intensity I is measured, and an existing quantity K of the specific species of the phytoplankton is calculated based on the intensity ratio rd of other species of plankton, the intensity ratio r, and the total fluorescence intensity I.

Parameters for the ultrasonic transducers around the calibration target can be adjusted based on the sensor data and the respective locations of the sensors.

In some implementations, fish are contained within an elliptical tank filled with water. An imaging station located on the elliptical tank is used to capture an image of a fish from which image analysis can be performed to detect sea lice or other skin features, including lesions, on the fish. Pairs of imaging assemblies coordinate pulsing light of at least a first and a second color and capturing images of the fish while the fish is illuminated by at least the first and the second color. By using the captured images with different color light, computers can detect features on the body of a fish including sea lice, skin lesions, shortened operculum or other physical deformities and skin features. Detection results can aid in mitigation techniques or be stored for analytics. For example, sea lice detection results can inform targeted treatments comprised of lasers, fluids, or mechanical devices such as a brush or suction.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method, a system and an apparatus for treating food items. Such method and device may, for instance, be used to cool down food items, bleed freshly slaughtered fish and treat live fish against parasites. The device and method of the present invention further uses temperature differences and agitation to tread food items. A method for reducing or eliminating sea lice from salmon fish, said method comprising: a) transporting the salmon fish from a reservoir and the feeding salmon fish in liquid into the tubing of a first pumping device, said liquid being at a temperature from +15 to +28° C., b) transporting the salmon fish in liquid through the tubing of the pumping device at a first set time period for treatment in said liquid, c) feeding the salmon fish out of the first pumping device, d) separating the liquid from the salmon fish, and e) transporting the salmon fish back to the reservoir, wherein the liquid media from the pumping device is redirected after separation from the salmon fish in step d) through a heat exchange element back into the pumping device for continued treatment of further salmon fish, and wherein the temperature difference between the liquid used in steps b) and the reservoir is more than 15° C.
