摘要: The present invention relates to a food waste dryer comprising: a main body in which a drying space is formed so that a portion thereof is open to the outside; a front door for closing the open portion of the main body; a drying basket which is disposed in the drying space of the main body and in which food is accommodated; an air circulation unit which includes a heater capable of heating the air of the drying space, and which suctions the air inside the drying space, and then blows, at the food waste, the air heated by the heater so as dry the food waste; a circulation pipe capable of discharging, to the outside through an exhaust pipe, the air that includes steam vaporized during a food waste drying process, and recirculating, to the drying space through a blowing pipe, the air heated by the heater; and a deodorizing device mounted on the outside of the main body so as to adsorb odor particles from the air discharged to the outside through the circulation pipe, thereby enabling the air to be deodorized, wherein the deodorizing device includes a deodorant comprising activated carbon and zeolite. According to the present invention, a fixed amount of steam, which is generated by vaporization and evaporation during the food waste drying process, is maintained, and the adsorption and deodorization performance of the odor particles can be improved.

摘要: An adsorbent system including an enclosure having a cavity defining a humidity-controlled environment and a body having or defining a channel therein. The body is coupled to the enclosure such that a first end of the channel is in selective fluid communication with an ambient environment and a second end of the channel is in fluid communication with the humidity-controlled environment. The system further includes an adsorbent material in the channel, wherein the channel and adsorbent material are configured such that inlet fluid flowing from the first end to the second end through the channel is flowable over at least a portion of the adsorbent material, and such that outlet fluid flowing from the second end to the first end is directly flowable over a majority of the portion of the adsorbent material that is flowable over by the inlet fluid, The system further includes a valve system positioned at or adjacent to or in fluid communication with the first end of the channel. The valve system includes an inlet valve portion that is biased to a closed position to generally block a flow of inlet fluid therethrough and that is movable to an open position when a pressure in the channel is sufficiently low relative to a pressure in the ambient environment. The valve system further includes an outlet valve portion that is biased to a closed position to generally block a flow of outlet fluid therethrough and that is movable to an open position when the pressure in the channel is sufficiently high relative to the pressure in the ambient environment.

摘要: A composition for making composite adsorbents from a mixture of geopolymer, zeolite and activated carbon wherein a geopolymer material, a carbonaceous material, and an alkali activating agent are the components of the mixture. The alkali activating agent to carbonaceous material solid mass ratio is at least 0.25:1, respectively. A process for producing shaped composite adsorbents from the composition is done using conventional means such as mixing, shaping, extrusion and other methods. Alkali activation is used to convert the carbonaceous material to activated carbon, followed by hydrothermal treatment to convert the geopolymer material to zeolites. Shaped composite adsorbents fabricated from the composition of the instant invention are used for adsorption, purification, or other separation applications of liquids and gases.

摘要: Provided are: a hydrocarbon adsorbent capable of adsorbing hydrocarbons, storing the adsorbed hydrocarbons up to a relatively high temperature, and desorbing the adsorbed and stored hydrocarbons at a relatively high temperature; an exhaust gas purifying catalyst composition using the same; an exhaust gas purifying catalyst; and a method for treating an exhaust gas. The hydrocarbon adsorbent comprises a zeolite having an MRT-type framework structure. The hydrocarbon adsorbent comprises a small-pore zeolite having a total desorption amount ZD1 of propylene desorbed at 50° C. or higher and lower than 300° C. being 3.5 mmol/g or less and a total desorption amount ZD2 of propylene desorbed at 300° C. or higher and 500° C. or lower being 0.5 mmol/g or more, per 1 g by mass of the small-pore zeolite, when adsorbing propylene at 50° C. and then heating from 50° C. to 500° C. under the condition of 10° C./min by a temperature-programmed desorption method.

摘要: A gas separation method includes supplying a mixed gas to a zeolite membrane complex and permeating a high permeability gas through the zeolite membrane complex to separate the high permeability gas from other gases. The mixed gas includes a high permeability gas and a trace gas that is lower in concentration than the high permeability gas. The trace gas contains an organic substance whose molar concentration in the mixed gas is higher than or equal to 1.0 mol %. The adsorption equilibrium constant of the organic substance on the zeolite membrane is less than 150 times the adsorption equilibrium constant of the high permeability gas.
