    摘要: Provided is an air cleaner that can take air in a wider range into a dust collector and can have attached a small dust collector without dropout of dust from the dust collector. An air cleaner 1-1 is provided with a flying body 2 and dust collectors 4-1-4-4. The flying body 2 is a drone and has a main body unit 20 and propellers 21-24 attached to the tips of frames 25-28. Each of the dust collectors 4-1 (4-2-4-4) is constituted of a cylindrical adsorption unit 40A-40C assembled to the propeller 21 (22-24), and a power supply unit 31 and a booster unit 33 within the main body unit 20. Each adsorption unit 40A (40B, 40C) is formed from a dielectric 41 and an electrode 42 within the dielectric 41. The electrodes 42, 42, 42 of the adsorption units 40A, 40B, 40C are connected to the booster unit 33 via respective wiring 33a, 33b, 33c, and the power supply unit 31 is connected to the booster unit 33.

    摘要: Collection of particles from a gas stream and the separation of dissimilar particles from a gas stream by a field effect auxiliary gas cyclone (FEAGC) is enhanced by providing an inductive field that attracts or repels particles and an auxiliary gas system that complements the field effect by providing an additional independent internal control for particle velocity, particle concentration, and system delta p. The FEAGC has three adjustable operating variables: (1) an auxiliary high pressure air input orifice located in the cyclone input which is used to increase the product velocity while reducing the solids to gas ratio; (2) an electric field between the cone and the vortex that subjects charged particles to either an attractive or repelling field; and (3) an auxiliary air venturi located in the inlet of the vortex to control the delta p and to control the operating temperature of the vortex and insulating materials. Controlling these variables is done by optically monitoring changes in the particle concentration at the exit end of the vortex outlet and automatically adjusting the auxiliary air inlets and the high voltage. The FEAGC is effective for separating particles that average less than 5 microns in diameter.

    摘要: A gasification system for solid wastes having a thermal reactor and a mechanical gas cleaner, an indirect heat exchange cooler, and an electrostatic precipitator for cleaning and cooling the produced gas. Feed material is continuously fed to the central section of the thermal reactor above an air introduction manifold and nozzles and in an upward direction, forming a stratified charge. As feed material moves upward and outward from the reactor center it is reduced to ash. An agitator assures contact between the hot particulate product and hot gases resulting in gasification of the feed material and net movement to the sidewall of the thermal reactor, forming ash. The air introduction nozzles serve as a grate. Ash descends along the sidewall to the reactor base for removal. The mechanical cleaner has a high speed rotating brush-like gas separator element and scraper combination which removes condensed tars and particulates from the produced gas stream. The device is self cleaning in that condensed tars and particulates agglomerate on the high speed rotating bristle elements and, upon reaching adequate size and mass, are thrown off by centrifugal force to the cylindrical sidewall, where scrapers remove accumulated material which falls to the separator base for removal. An electrostatic precipitator having a cylindrical brush-like electrode suspended from one end by an insulated arm, removes remaining particles or aerosols from the product gas.

    摘要: A cyclonic separator for particles suspended in the flow of an air stream. The separator comprises first and second spiral baffles adapted for mating engagement one within the other for imparting cyclonic flow to the air stream for collecting the particles from cyclonic motion thereof. The baffles are oriented with the first baffle rotated relative to the second baffle to therein form a flow path therebetween. The flow path between the baffles has in it a reversing, oppositely directed concentric spiral passage which carries the particles in a first spiral direction and then in a second opposite spiral direction. Each inner terminal end of the first baffle, or each outer terminal end of the second baffle, or both, may include an arcuate region of sharply increasing curvature adapted for collecting strayed paint particles and solvent droplets. The first and the second spiral baffles as described above may also be made from electrically conductive material and each is being held electrically insulated from the other for the application of electric potentials of opposite polarity thereto.

The cylindrical shell is supported at its ends by insulators and is provided with a plurality of juxtaposed discharge points. The wall thickness of the cylindrical shell is about 0.05 mm and the discharge points are cut out in the wall of the cylindrical shell and being bent in radial direction toward the inner wall of the filter housing. The sides of the segments connecting the discharge points are oriented in the direction of the center axis of the electrode.

    摘要: This invention relates to a device at a dust filter for cleaning a gas flow from dust. The dust filter consists of an electrostatic precipitator or fabric filter (bag filter) and comprises a filter chamber (10) with gas inlet (12) and gas outlet (13). At the gas inlet a precollector (30) in the form of a louvre collector (31) is located for separating coarse dust, i.e. dust with a diameter exceeding 50-75 microns. In the order to obtain good collection at the louvre collector (31), the collected dust is evacuated by means of a partial gas flow, which is passed to a dust hopper (34) and a dust discharge unit (35). According to the invention, the dust discharge unit (35) comprises a cyclone collector (36), the inlet portion (37) of which is integrated with the dust hopper (34), and the outlet portion of which or central pipe (38) is formed with a passageway (39), the mouth (40) of which is located in the filter chamber downstream the louvre collector. The cyclone collector (36) is dimensioned so that the pressure drop over the louvre collector (31) amounting dimensioned so that the pressure drop over the louvre collector (31) amounting to between 0.0015 and 0.0030 atm is sufficient to drive the partial gas flow through the cyclone collector, which may be an axial cyclone or a tangential cyclone.
