摘要: A register box for an HVAC installation has a body with a plurality of side panels arranged in a generally rectangular or square configuration and a wall extending in generally transverse relation to the plurality of side panels, and an expandable polymeric material affixed to an inner side of the side panels and across the wall. The wall has a plurality of concentric circular areas cut into the wall. Each of the concentric areas is formed of a first partial circle having ends in spaced relation to a second partial circle. The circular area can be removed from the wall so as to allow a user to cut through the polymeric material at the wall so as to form a hole opening to an interior of the register box. This hole can receive a collar therein. The collar can be connected to the HVAC system.

摘要: A method of fabricating a composite structure includes laying at least one composite ply about a bladder, the bladder comprising a phase change material in a first phase having a first volume, positioning an outer mold about the bladder and the at least one composite ply, and curing the at least one composite ply to form the composite structure. Curing causes the phase change material contained within the bladder to change to a second phase to expand from the first volume to a second volume and apply a pressure to an interior surface of the composite ply and press an outer surface of the composite ply against the outer mold to form an interior cavity. The bladder is not removable from the formed interior cavity.

The padding device is formed by injection molding a hollow profiled section, inserting of a pad core material into the hollow profiled section for forming the pad core in the hollow profiled section, and closing the hollow profiled section (21) for creating the closed pad core shell (20). The padding device (10a; 10b; 10c; 10d; 10e) has a closed pad core shell (20) and a pad core (30) arranged in the pad core shell. The pad core shell is seamless as an injection-molded component in at least some sections. A carrying belt system and a respirator with the carrying belt system are provided with the belt system having the padding device.

摘要: Embodiments are directed to a radiopaque foam used to repair composite structures. A method for creating the radiopaque foam comprises providing first and second resin components that are radiolucent to x-ray imaging. A barium sulfate component is combined with the second resin component. After combining the barium sulfate component and the second resin component, the first resin component and the second resin component are mixed to create a pourable foam. An amount of barium sulfate combined with the second resin component is sufficient to render the pourable foam radiopaque to x-ray imaging.
