    摘要: In a brake control apparatus (20) that controls braking forces which are applied to wheels based on the pressure of a brake fluid, when a hydraulic pressure actuator (40) controls the hydraulic pressure that is transferred to wheel cylinders (23) using the hydraulic pressure of the brake fluid in a power hydraulic pressure source (30), a brake ECU (70) closes a simulator cut valve (68) if the pressure of the brake fluid in the power hydraulic pressure source (30) falls below a predetermined value (Pssc) or if it is determined that the number of times the brake operation member (24) is operated within a predetermined value. In addition, the ECU (70) may change the timing for closing the simulator cut valve (68) based on the road surface condition estimated at the time of antilock control start. Thus, a driver is less likely to feel unusual brake feel when a braking control mode is changed.

    摘要: In a method for displacing and storing brake fluid for a hydraulic brake system of a vehicle which brake system has at least one hydraulic accumulator, at least one brake booster and at least one brake circuit, the brake booster is configured in such a manner, that even without an action of the driver, actuation of the brake booster allows a volume of brake fluid to be automatically displaced. The brake fluid is displaced into the hydraulic accumulator and stored, by automatic actuation of the brake booster, and at least a portion of the stored brake fluid is emptied by the hydraulic accumulator into the brake circuit as a function of the operating state of the brake system.

    摘要: A vehicle brake system includes a brake pedal unit (BPU) coupled to a vehicle brake pedal and including an input piston connected to operate a pedal simulator during a normal braking mode, and coupled to actuate a pair of output pistons during a manual push through mode. The output pistons are operable to generate brake actuating pressure at first and second outputs of the BPU. A hydraulic pressure source for supplying fluid at a controlled boost pressure is included. The system further includes a hydraulic control unit (HCU) adapted to be hydraulically connected to the BPU and the hydraulic pressure source, the HCU including a slip control valve arrangement, and a switching base brake valve arrangement for switching the brake system between the normal braking mode wherein boost pressure from the pressure source is supplied to first and second vehicle brakes, and the manual push through mode wherein brake actuating pressure from the BPU is supplied to the first and second vehicle brakes.

In addition to the hydraulic chamber (4), there is a hydraulic chamber (6) for brake fluid, and the volume of this hydraulic chamber (6) is likewise reduced after introduction of the actuating force (F). To amplify the brake force, an output of this additional hydraulic chamber (6) is in fluid connection with the input side (10e) of a booster pump (10), which delivers brake fluid in the direction from the additional hydraulic chamber (6) to the at least one wheel brake (3). The output side (10a) of the booster pump (10) is in fluid connection with the output of the hydraulic chamber (4), so that an increased brake pressure is provided for the at least one wheel brake (3).

    摘要: To make a brake device generate a required braking force, a hydraulic control section switches, according to the relative magnitude between the required braking force and a braking force exerted by braking operation, between drive of a pump motor and non-drive of the pump motor and a master cut valve reduces the flow of brake fluid in the direction to a master cylinder. By this, a wheel cylinder maintains hydraulic pressure capable of generating the required braking force. As a result, the pump motor is not necessarily always driven when the required braking force is generated, and the operating time period of the pump motor is reduced. As a result, a load on the pump motor is reduced to enhance durability of the pump motor.
