摘要: An energy storage and delivery system includes one or more cableways and a cage that travels along each of the one or more cableways. The cage is coupled (e.g., fixedly coupled) to one or more cables that extend between a lower elevation and a higher elevation, the cables or steel ribbons being translated along the associated cableway by a traction motor wheel to translate the cage along the associated cableway. The system is operable to pick-up, transport and deliver with the cage a plurality of blocks from the lower elevation to the higher elevation to store energy (e.g., via the potential energy of the block). The system is also operable to pick-up, transport and deliver with the cage a plurality of blocks from the higher elevation to the lower elevation at least partially under force of gravity to generate electricity via an electric generator coupled to the traction motor wheel.

摘要: A cable car carriage for transporting goods or passengers has two opposing spaced-apart crawlers. Each of the crawlers has a crawler chain composed of juxtaposed chain links. A support cable can be inserted between the opposing crawlers on the opposing chain links of the crawler chains. A pressing mechanism connects the crawlers with one another, and is designed to adjust the distance between the crawlers as well as the pressing force of the two crawlers relative to each other and/or the pressing force of the two crawlers against the support cable. The crawler chains are driven in a circulating movement by a drive via a crawler running gear, thus moving the cable car carriage along the support cable. A cable crane, a passenger gondola, a cable saddle, and a transport assembly employing the cable car carriage are also disclosed.

摘要: The present invention provides for a more environmentally friendly method to move products and at the same time replace manual labor where it is used. The Cableway Eco-Bike may be a single or two-person pedal powered bicycle that rides on a cableway to pull agricultural products. A preferred embodiment has an option of an electric motor that provides power assist that operates on DC power from a battery that operates a DC motor. The electric motor operates on a battery that has a charging system to recharge at the end of the life cycle. The battery can preferably be charged with a convention (115) or (240) Volt battery charger or a solar powered charger. Also disclosed is a cable bicycle for use in moving people along a cable transport system.

摘要: An auto reset zip line assembly comprising a cable running along the circumference of two pulleys that are spaced apart forming a closed loop is disclosed. A pair of rigid frames are fixedly coupled to the cable at an equal distance from each other. The pulley includes a wheel having a rim that has a continuous trough along the circumference to retain the cable. The wheel is rotatably mounted on a shaft and the shaft is mounted to a hosing. The pulleys include means to suspend a zip line assembly between two vertical supports. The auto reset zip line assembly further comprises a braking mechanism and a pair of guarding plates coupled to the housing to prevent derailing and entangling of the cable. The invention is advantageous by providing a safe zip line assembly that obviated the need of returning a trolley to the starting point of the zip line.

摘要: A cableway system has a conveying cable and chairs, which can be coupled to the conveying cable and are coupled to the conveying cable along the path of the cableway system, are uncoupled from the conveying cable at the entrance into the stations, are guided through the stations, along guide rails, by way of control tires, and are coupled to the conveying cable again at the exit from the stations, furthermore the chairs are designed with at least one safety bar and a device for adjusting the safety bar, and for locking the same, and a device for checking the locking are arranged at the exit from the stations. A first device for adjusting and locking the safety bar and an associated device for checking the locking and a second device for adjusting and locking the safety bar and an associated device for checking the locking are provided at the exit from the stations. In the case where locking has not taken place, the first checking device that is associated with the first device for adjusting and locking the safety bar, causes the second device for adjusting and locking the safety bar to be moved into its active position.

摘要: An improved cableway system includes a base pylon; a lower saddle mounted to the base pylon from which a track cable may be strung; and an upper saddle from which a catenary cable may be strung, the upper saddle movably mounted to the base pylon to articulate in response to the weight of a vehicle traversing the track cable. The lower saddle is a linkage pivotally mounted to the base pylon beneath the first saddle to accommodate the articulation of the upright and distribute the weight of the vehicle across a portion of the track cable. The hanger for suspending a track cable from a catenary cable includes a hanger member suspended from the catenary cable by one end thereof; a cross-tie pivotably mounted to the hanger member at the end distal to the catenary cable; a track cable guide affixed to the cross-tie; and a power rail guide mounted to one of the suspended member and the cross-tie. A new equalizing lock is also provided to provide improved lateral support for the union of the catenary and track cables.
