摘要: The present invention relates to a method and system for aseptically filling of flexible packages containing dry cloth. Such a method may include a first stage that is performed in a non-sterile environment. The first stage may include cutting a first substantially dry cloth to a predetermined size; inserting the first cloth into a flexible package; sealing a first end of the flexible package; and sterilizing the flexible package. The method may also include a second stage performed in a sterile environment. The second stage may include filling the flexible package with a medical solution such that the substantially dry cloth absorbs at least a portion of the medical solution; and sealing the open end of the flexible package.

摘要: A method includes moving an actuation lock of a medical injector from a first position to a second position. The actuation lock has an extended portion disposed between a shoulder of a housing and the base when the actuation lock is in the first position. The extended portion is spaced apart from the base when the actuation lock is in the second position. A distal end portion of a base, which is movably coupled to an end portion of the housing, is placed into contact with a body. The base is actuated after the placing to release an energy from an energy storage member within the housing to produce a force to move a needle from a first needle position to a second needle position. At least a portion of the needle extends through the base when the needle is in the second needle position.

摘要: Systems and methods for aseptically filling pharmaceutical containers with pharmaceutical fluid are disclosed. In one general aspect, these are based on an aseptically sealable chamber that includes a transfer wall to which pre-sealed pharmaceutical source and receiving containers are mounted aseptically. A robotic arm and a syringe store are disposed within the chamber along with a sterilizing facility for establishing in the chamber an aseptic condition. The robotic arm can grip and operate syringes to inject and/or extract pharmaceutical products from the containers by piercing their closures with the needles of the syringes.

摘要: A surgical gown folded in a unique pattern that provides for a smaller sized gown that can be packaged in a smaller sized outer wrap as well as provide for an easily donnable gown that maintains its sterility. The fold pattern provides for the interior surfaces of the gown to be visible, and preferably, a portion of the interior surfaces, while maintaining sterility of the exterior surfaces by keeping them inside of the gown. A method of folding the gown in this new pattern is provided herein as well as a method of donning the folded gown.

The manipulating element functions as a gripping and transportation device for inspecting the articles or article parts and/or for the production of the articles.

The first portion has a first length that is less than a second length of the second portion along a perimeter of the sidewall, and the second portion is positionable to apply a force to the physiological characteristic sensor.

The apparatus comprises a positioning element reader arranged to determine a position of the positioning element comprised in or on the web, a control unit configured to estimate a position of the opening device based on the position of the positioning element, and an air pulse device arranged to provide an air pulse, wherein the control unit is further configured to adjust the air pulse device based on the position of the opening device, and the air pulse is provided onto an opening device area of the web such that sterilization agent is removed from the opening device.

The method also includes filling the can with a sterilized food or drink in the aseptic chamber, sealing a sterilized base of the can to the open end of the body of the can with a food-safe adhesive to create a hermetic seal, removing the can from the first aseptic chamber while maintaining the hermetic seal outside the first aseptic chamber, and mechanically seaming the base to the can.
