    摘要: A cupstock for making rimmed cups, such as coffee cups, can be manufactured from recycled paper fibers while having a rim-formation index (RFI) and/or structural and flexural factors, based on certain properties of the cupstock to facilitate a quality rim. For example, the RFI can be based on the thickness, ring crush MD, bending stiffness MD, and areal density of the cupstock. The cupstock can be made from 100% recycled fibers from old corrugated cardboard (OCC) and provided with structural and flexural factors within respective ranges to ensure adequate rim formation when converted into a rimmed cup.

    摘要: A sleeve-shaped outer part is formed from a blank cut that is wound to a sleeve and end sections are connected to one another in an overlap region. A predetermined separating region includes an actuator with a gripping section for the separation of separating sections located on both sides. The separating section, as seen in circumferential direction, is arranged so as to be laterally spaced apart by an offset with respect to the separating sections aligned to taper towards one another and an imaginary straight connecting line between them. A separate predetermined separating section is formed in the sleeve of the outer part between each gripping section end and the respective end of the separating sections. A combination packaging container includes a cup-shaped inner container having such an outer part and a method separates the predetermined separating region and the separation of the outer part from the inner container.

The rim portion comprises a rolled up portion of an upper portion of the outer paperboard layer of the sidewall, said rolled up portion being covered by a portion of the thin inner plastic foil layer. In this way, a stiff upper rim is provided, while allowing the use of a very thin inner plastic foil layer.

    摘要: A dispensing package for holding and dispensing food products, such as yogurts, frozen confections, custards, and the like, and may comprise a unitary, one-piece package body preferably comprising wicking-resistant, polymer-coated paperboard material which is liquid impermeable. Non-coated paperboard may alternatively be employed. The package body includes a sidewall having a generally elongated, downwardly and inwardly tapering configuration, and can include a crimped bottom. The sidewall is inwardly deformable so that inward deformation urges product within the package upwardly through the open mouth of the package for dispensing the product. The package can alternatively be configured with a flat bottom, and include a horizontal, bottom flex panel to facilitate deformation of the package for dispensing product. This embodiment permits the package to be readily positioned in a standing, upright orientation during consumption so that product does not inadvertently flow from the package.
