摘要: A receiver assembly can be coupled to a spindle to receive self-piercing rivets carried by a tape along a tape path below a punch. A reverse locking pawl can be designed to permit movement of the tape relative to the reverse locking pawl along the tape path in a forward direction and to engage a positioning aperture of the tape to stop movement of the tape in the reverse direction when a lead rivet is aligned with the punch. A method can include moving the tape forward along the tape path until a lead rivet of the tape is at a position along the tape path that is beyond an alignment position with the punch, and moving the tape in reverse to engage the corresponding positioning aperture.

摘要: The problem of providing an apparatus for conveying a molded body for heat exchanger fins that is capable of realizing high speed conveying of the molded body for heat exchanger fins, preventing the generation of noise during conveying, and miniaturization is provided. An apparatus conveys a metal strip in a predetermined direction after tube insertion portions are formed in a thin metal plate, and has a plurality of conveying units disposed along a conveying direction of the molded body for heat exchanger fins, each conveying unit including: a rotating conveyor that has a plurality of tapered protrusions that are capable of advancing into the tube insertion portions and a rotating shaft in a direction that is perpendicular to a conveying direction of the metal strip on a horizontal plane; and a rotating conveyor driving unit that rotationally drives the rotating conveyor. An operation control unit that controls the plurality of rotating conveyor driving units so as to synchronize respective rotational speeds of the plurality of conveying units is also provided.

摘要: A separation unit for separating a web material along preformed lines of weakness. The separation unit has a width direction and includes a first roller having a rotational axis extending in the width direction and a web width extending in the width direction, and a second roller having a rotational axis extending parallel with the rotational axis of the first roller and a web width extending in the width direction. The second roller is positioned at a distance from the first roller. Each of the first and the second rollers is provided with a plurality of protrusion elements being spaced along the rotational axes and protruding perpendicular from the axes. Each of the protrusion elements has a maximum width in the width direction, a maximum radial extension from the rotational axes, an inner portion adjacent to the rotational axes, and an outer portion remote from the rotational axes.

摘要: There is provided a tape feeder that feeds a carrier tape to supply components to a component suction position for a mounting head in a component mounting apparatus. The tape feeder includes a first tape feed mechanism which is provided in a downstream side and feeds a preceding tape to the component suction position, and a second tape feed mechanism provided in an upstream side and feeds a following tape from a tape introducing port side toward the first tape feed mechanism. The tape feeder also includes a tape slipping-off informing unit which informs the component mounting apparatus that the following tape is slipped off from the second tape feed mechanism. For example, the tape slipping-off informing unit decides that the following tape is slipped off when a rotation of a sprocket of the second tape feed mechanism in an opposite direction is detected.

摘要: A component feeding device transports a tape (a component feeding tape) in which electronic components are stored with some transportation device, and exposes the components. Transportation of the component feeding tape may be performed by fitting a sprocket with a feed hole of the component feeding tape. It has been found that sprocket does not necessarily fit with the feed hole of the component feeding tape. It has been found that this phenomenon takes place in a case of driving at least two or more sprockets with a driving device. When the sprocket does not fit with the feed hole, transportation of the tape is not correctly performed, but exerts an undesirable influence such as reduction of mounting efficiency on feeding of the components and subsequent mounting of the components. One feature resides in rendering a backlash of an upstream-side sprocket larger than a backlash of a downstream-side sprocket.

摘要: A component supplying apparatus comprises a tape guide surface facing a lower surface of the carrier tape, a preceding tape contact part climbing onto a upper surface of the preceding carrier tape, and a subsequent tape blocking part configured to wait on the upstream side of the preceding tape contact part in a tape feeding direction while keeping a distance from the tape guide surface so as to enable the carrier tape to pass between the subsequent tape blocking part and the tape guide surface, and to move downwardly toward the preceding carrier tape when the preceding tape contact part is climbed onto the preceding carrier tape. The subsequent tape blocking part keeps the subsequent carrier tape waiting by contacting a front end of the subsequent carrier tape stacked on the preceding carrier tape onto which the preceding tape contact part climbs.
