    摘要: An anti-freezing apparatus comprises: a main block including an accommodation space and a water inlet at one side thereof to communicate with the accommodation space; a temperature sensitive member provided in the accommodation space and having one end for opening and closing the water inlet, the length of the temperature sensitive member variable due to expansion or contraction according to changes in temperature; an elastic member installed between the temperature sensitive member and the main block; a connecting rod connected to the other end of the temperature sensitive member; a locking part having opposite ends locked in a locking protrusion formed in the accommodation space and having a through-hole through which water passes; and an adjustment part coupled to the tip end of the connecting rod and rotatably screw-coupled to the locking part. The elastic member applies an elastic force to the temperature sensitive member to close the water inlet.

    摘要: A system that automatically prevents freezing of a liquid in a plumbing network includes an electrical temperature sensor, an electromechanical shut-off valve, a pump (such as an air compressor pump and a vacuum pump) and an operatively connected computer. The computer determines if the temperature detected by the electrical temperature sensor is within a predetermined range of a threshold temperature. If so, the computer actuates the shut-off valve to prevent the liquid from flowing from a liquid source to a portion of the plumbing network, and actuates the pump to discharge the liquid from the portion of the plumbing network to the liquid drain. The computer may actuate additional electromechanical valves on the plumbing network to facilitate discharge of the liquid, and on a supply line to allow the liquid to continue circulating in the supply line.

    摘要: Certain aspects direct to systems and methods for preventing water pipe freeze. A water supply system includes a water pipe and an Internet of Things (IoT) tap device switchable between an open state and a closed state. An IoT temperature sensor is disposed on the water pipe to detect an environmental temperature of the water pipe and generate a corresponding temperature signal. The IoT tap device is communicatively connected to the at least one IoT temperature sensor. In operation, the IoT tap device requests and receives the temperature signal from the temperature sensor, and determines the environmental temperature based on the temperature signal. When the environmental temperature is at or below a threshold temperature, such as a freezing point of water, the IoT tap device controls its tap to switch to the open state such that water flows or drips out from the tap.

    摘要: A system for transferring and heating fluid is disclosed comprising a fluid transfer pipe having an internal surface and an external surface, and at least one helical heating rib connected to the internal surface of the fluid transfer pipe structured and arranged to generate non-laminar flow and to heat the fluid as it flows through the fluid transfer pipe. A method of heating fluid contained in a pipe is also disclosed. The method comprises providing at least one helical heating rib connected to an internal surface of a fluid transfer pipe, and passing the fluid through the fluid transfer pipe, whereby the at least one helical heating rib generates turbulent flow of the fluid to thereby heat the fluid. The helical heating ribs may comprise hollow channels through which a heating liquid may be passed to further heat the fluid contained in the pipe.

    摘要: A heating assembly for use in a fluid line has a heating cable including electrical resistance wires encapsulated in a metal sheath. The cable passes through a fitting where it is connected to a power supply. The connection between the power supply and the heating cable is encapsulated within the fitting, and the metal sheath is secured to the fitting with a permanent connection. A bushing is provided to support the connection between the resistance wires and the power supply within the fitting. The elongate sheath may be inserted into a fluid line and the fitting connected to that line using a mechanical connection.

The inner pipe includes a connecting segment and a fitting segment opposite to the connecting segment, the fitting segment has a peripheral protrusion, and the peripheral protrusion has a plurality of outer threads screwing with the plural inner threads of the outer pipe. The control valve movably is fitted on the fitting segment to abut against and close the inlet; the resilient element is fixed in the inner pipe to push against the control valve; the unidirectional sealing gasket is fitted onto the inner pipe; and the controlling assembly is disposed on the opening of the outer pipe.
