摘要: A phase diagnosis method and apparatus. When it is verified that the location of an engine is valid, an oil injector performs spraying at a top center compression position; if no acceleration is detected after spraying, it indicates that a fault occurs; in order to detect whether it is a fault of phase deviation of the camshaft by 180 degrees, the oil sprayer performs spraying at the top center exhaust position and detects whether there is an acceleration; if an acceleration is detected, it indicates that the situation of the phase deviation of the camshaft by 180 degrees exists. In this way, the problem in the prior art of being unable to detect phase deviation when the phase of a camshaft is deviated by 180 degrees is solved.

摘要: One embodiment is a system comprising an engine including a dedicated EGR cylinder configured to provide EGR to the engine via an EGR loop, a non-dedicated cylinder, a plurality of injectors, an ignition system including a plurality of spark plugs, an intake throttle, and an electronic control system. The electronic control system is configured to control combustion during transient operation of the engine by determining one or more combustion control parameters compensating for variation of one or more of inert matter, unburned air and unburned fuel in EGR output by the dedicated EGR cylinder during transient operation of the engine, and an effect of the EGR loop on inert matter, unburned air and unburned fuel provided to the plurality of cylinders, and controlling operation of at least one of the throttle, the ignition system and the plurality of injectors in response to at least one of the one or more combustion control parameters.

摘要: A vehicle control system includes an accelerator sensor which detects an accelerator opening, and a processor which sets a target acceleration of a vehicle based on the detected accelerator opening, sets a target torque of a drive source based on the set target acceleration, and controls the drive source to generate the set target torque. In a case where the target acceleration at a time when the accelerator opening is increased is set as a depression-increasing target acceleration and the target acceleration at a time when the accelerator opening is decreased is set as a pedal-returning target acceleration, under the same condition of the accelerator opening, the processor sets the target acceleration such that the depression-increasing target acceleration and the pedal-returning target acceleration are different from each other in a predetermined range of an upper limit acceleration or less and a lower limit acceleration or greater.

The controller may select, based on the information concerning the speed of the engine, the information concerning the load of the engine, and the information concerning the fuel rate of the engine, a control process, of a plurality of control processes, to control an intake manifold absolute pressure (IMAP) of the engine to facilitate the regeneration process. The controller may cause, according to the selected control process, adjustment of one or more components of a variable geometry turbocharger (VGT) of the engine and an intake throttle valve (ITV) of the engine.

摘要: A shutter system is provided for a vehicle having an internal combustion engine that receives forced intake air and is cooled by an engine coolant. The vehicle includes a charge air cooler system having an intercooler for cooling the intake air and an engine cooling system. The shutter system includes a shutter positioned downstream of the intercooler and an actuator for moving the shutter between first and second positions. The shutter system further includes a sensor for generating a signal associated with a temperature of the intake air and a processor for comparing the temperature to a threshold. The actuator moves the shutter to the first position in response to receiving the first signal when the temperature is below the threshold. The actuator moves the shutter to the second position in response to receiving the second signal when the temperature is above the threshold.

摘要: The present invention describes a fuel-management system for minimizing particulate emissions in turbocharged direct injection gasoline engines. The system optimizes the use of port fuel injection (PFI) in combination with direct injection (DI), particularly in cold start and other transient conditions. In the present invention, the use of these control systems together with other control systems for increasing the effectiveness of port fuel injector use and for reducing particulate emissions from turbocharged direct injection engines is described. Particular attention is given to reducing particulate emissions that occur during cold start and transient conditions since a substantial fraction of the particulate emissions during a drive cycle occur at these times. Further optimization of the fuel management system for these conditions is important for reducing drive cycle emissions.

摘要: A vehicle control apparatus includes input-side and output-side rotating elements, a fuel injection controller, and an ignition timing controller. The ignition timing controller controls ignition timing of an engine to first timing on the condition that the engine is controlled from a fuel cut state to a fuel injection state, and afterwards, changes the ignition timing to second timing on advance side of the first timing. The ignition timing controller changes the ignition timing toward the second timing at a first change rate until a rotational acceleration rate of the output-side rotating element reaches a threshold. After the rotational acceleration rate of the output-side rotating element reaches the threshold, the ignition timing controller changes the ignition timing toward the second timing at a second change rate greater than the first change rate.

The output value is not changed significantly with respect to a change in the input value if an angle of the accelerator pedal is changed within the deadband, and the output value is changed continuously with respect to a change in the input value based on a predetermined function if an angle of the accelerator pedal is changed within the asymptotic range.
