The valve head may be driven by the coil between a first position wherein the valve head at least partially obstructs the fluid passage and a second position wherein the valve head permits greater fluid flow in the fluid passage to control fluid flow through the fluid passage.

    摘要: A carburetor has a throttle element rotatably supported on a throttle shaft and a choke element rotatably supported on a choke shaft. A first coupling element is fixedly connected to the throttle shaft. A second coupling element is connected to the choke shaft. The first and second coupling elements define in a locked position a start position of throttle element and choke element. The locked position is released by rotation of the throttle shaft in opening direction of the throttle element. The locked position is released by rotation of the choke shaft in opening direction of the choke element. One of the first and second coupling elements is an at least partially elastic coupling element. Upon rotation of the choke shaft from the locked position into an open position, the elastic coupling element is elastically deformed and releases the locked position between the first and second coupling elements.

    摘要: A carburetor valve and limiter cap assembly for limiting adjustment of fuel flow in a carburetor may include a needle valve and a limiter cap. The needle valve may have a tip, a threaded portion, a head having a flange with an outer diameter greater than the rest of the head, and one or more serrations formed on the head. The limiter cap may have a sidewall, a tab extending outwardly from the sidewall, a first cavity having an inner diameter sized for an interference fit with the flange, and at least one driving feature to engage at least one serration so that rotation of the limiter cap causes rotation of the needle valve. The interference fit between the flange and the limiter cap inhibits removal of the limiter cap from the needle valve to prevent undesired adjustment of the needle valves by an end user.

The assembly includes a housing and a first and second parallel channels extending through the housing. The first channel is for a fuel/air mixture and the second channel is for auxiliary air. The assembly also includes a partition wall extending in a plane between the first and second channels and arranged upstream and downstream of at least one butterfly valve. The assembly also includes a protruding section which extends across the butterfly along the axis of rotation at least on the downstream side of the butterfly. The housing includes fuel-conveying idling ducts that open in the first channel in the region where the butterfly valve, sealing member on the partition wall, substantially contacting the protruding section at least on the downstream side of the butterfly.

    摘要: A carburetor valve control system for stabilizing engine warm-up operating conditions by automatically controlling the degree of opening of a throttle valve so as to be larger than a normal degree of opening for idling, without carrying out a special operation of appropriately strengthening the spring force of a governor spring. The carburetor throttle valve control system includes a throttle lever and a governor system coupled to the throttle lever. A choke return spring is connected to a choke lever, the choke return spring urging the choke lever to a choke valve closing side. An automatic choke system is disposed so as to face the choke lever. A throttle valve closure restricting member is provided between the throttle lever and the choke lever. During engine warming-up, when the spring force of a governor spring is adjusted to zero or a minimum, the choke lever restricts closing of the throttle valve via the throttle lever by means of the spring force of the choke return spring.

A valve plate is fixed to the valve shaft to rotate therewith in the air induction passage. A biasing cam structure is incorporated with the valve shaft to bias the valve place toward a predetermined intermediate open position. The biasing cam structure comprises a cam plate which is secured to the other end of the valve shaft to rotate therewith and has a generally V-shaped cam edge; a loading lever which has a base end pivotally connected to a fixed portion; a follower member which is connected to a leading end of the loading lever and slidably engaged with the V-shaped cam edge; and a biasing member which biases the loading lever in a direction to press the follower member against the V-shaped cam edge.
