The outer ring includes a first outer ring and a second outer ring that is arranged alongside the first outer ring in a first axis direction in which the central axis extends and is fixed to the first outer ring. The inner ring includes a first inner ring and a second inner ring that is arranged alongside the first inner ring in the first axis direction and is fixed to the first inner ring. One and the other of opposing portions in the first and second outer rings and in the first and second inner rings have a protruding portion and a through hole corresponding to the protruding portion formed respectively therein. The protruding portion and the through hole are fitted together, and the protruding portion and the through hole are bonded to each other.

At least one of the contact points has a flat face.

The annular backing member is in press-fit engagement with the annular race member such that the radial outer face of the annular race member engages the radial inner surface of the annular backing member and the second axial end face of the annular race member engages the axially-facing base surface of the annular backing member such that the members are unitized.

摘要: An axial retainment system for a shaft is provided. The axial retainment system includes a cylindrical body extending from an outboard end to an inboard end thereof, and a swaged ridge extending radially outward from the cylindrical body proximate the outboard end. The swaged ridge has an outboard axial surface facing toward the outboard end and extending radially outward and terminating at a radially outward facing circumferential surface. The swaged ridge has an inboard axial surface facing toward the inboard end and extending radially outward from the cylindrical body and terminating at the radially outward facing circumferential surface. The outboard axial surface of the swaged ridge is recessed axially inward from the outboard end of the shaft. The inboard axial surface of the swaged ridge is swaged against, conforms in shape to, and is compressed against a component to be axially retained on the shaft.

摘要: A pitch bearing for coupling a rotor blade to a hub of a wind turbine includes an outer race mountable to the hub and an inner race rotatable relative to the outer race and mountable to the rotor blade. The inner race is formed by first and second ring components, each of the first and second ring components having an outer annular face and an inner annular face. The first and second ring components are joined together at the inner annular faces such that the inner annular faces are opposed and opposite each other. A layer of friction enhancing material is inserted/disposed between the opposed inner annular faces, the friction enhancing material including an abrasive particulate component that increases a coefficient of friction to minimize slippage between the first and second ring components.

摘要: A tensioning arrangement for a bearing ring, which introduces a compressive force towards a rotational centre of the bearing ring, to prevent the bearing ring distorting as a shaft supported by the bearing turns. The tensioner arrangement includes a strap and a tensioner. The strap has a connector at each end, and tensioner has an element for connecting to the connectors. The tensioner also has an element for applying tension to the strap. In use, the strap is arranged around the bearing ring and a circumferential length of the strap in contact with the bearing ring is reduced, thereby applying compressive force to the bearing ring.
