摘要: Provided herein are measurement systems including a micrometer assembly for receiving a length of tubing, the micrometer assembly including a plurality of non-contact optical micrometers disposed around the length of tubing for measuring an outer diameter (OD) at a first plurality of positions along a circumference of the length of tubing. The measurement system may further include a displacement gauge assembly for receiving the length of tubing from the optical micrometer assembly, the displacement gauge assembly including a plurality of non-contact gauges disposed around the length of tubing for measuring a wall thickness at a second plurality of positions along the circumference of the length of tubing. A controller receives the OD measurements and thickness measurements, and determines an inner diameter and a concentricity of the length of glass tubing based on an index of refraction of the length of glass tubing, the OD measurements, and the thickness measurements.

The array of sensors moves together in a second direction, in a scanning plane. 摘要: A method and apparatus to obtain very accurate measurements of the perimeter of a person's head scanning with an optical device; transmitting the scanned data to one or more processors which translate the measurements as precise three-dimensional data wherein an x-y plane is defined as the beginning or lower edge of the conformal cap from which a z-axis extends orthogonally in a upwardly direction towards the crown of a person's head. The three-dimensional data may be further processed to a suitable format for transmission to a transformation tool that moves one or more actuators to create an accurate three-dimensional mold of the person's head, upon which fabric or foam can be applied to create an accurate conformal cap for subsequent uses.

In one example, a cable-preparation system includes a tool-head mount configured to couple to a cutting-tool head, wherein the cutting-tool head is configured to receive a first portion of an electrical cable and comprises a plurality of rollers and at least one rotatable cutting tool configured to cut at least one layer of the electrical cable; a cable clamp configured to retain a second portion of the electrical cable; and a guide rail extending from the tool-head mount to the cable clamp parallel to a longitudinal axis of the electrical cable, wherein the guide rail guides an axial movement of the cutting-tool head along the electrical cable as the cutting-tool head cuts the one or more layers of the electrical cable.

摘要: Various implementations disclosed herein include devices, systems, and methods that determine a wrist measurement or watch band size using depth data captured by a depth sensor from one or more rotational orientations of the wrist. In some implementations, depth data captured by a depth sensor including at least two depth map images of a wrist from different angles is obtained. In some implementations, an output is generated based on inputting the depth data into a machine learning model, the output corresponding to circumference of the wrist or a watch band size of the wrist. Then, a watch band size recommendation is provided based on the output.
