摘要: Techniques are provided for contacting emergency response services when certain conditions are met. In some instances, it may be determined, by a wearable device, whether a user has responded to a first user interface prompt displayed in response to detection of a physical event associated with the user. In accordance with a determination that the user has not responded to the first user interface prompt after expiration of a first time period, certain actions may be performed. For example, a countdown timer may begin to run for a second timer period. During the second period, an audio alert and a haptic alert may be output by the wearable device. In accordance with a determination that the user has not responded to a second user interface prompt prior to expiration of the second time period, a communication channel request may be transmitted to an emergency response service by the wearable device.

摘要: A medication vending device is provided that includes an input interface configured to receive a signal outputted by a medical diagnostics device which indicates a parameter of the patient's body, and a memory that stores a dosing schedule for medication loaded into the device. The medication vending device generates an electronic message whenever a vending event occurs. The dosing schedule is compared with the vending events, and a signal is outputted indicating when the medication is being properly vended in accordance with the dosing schedule, thereby indicating that the patient is adhering to the dosing schedule. An alert signal is generated when the patient is adhering to the dosing schedule, but the parameter is abnormal for the patient.

摘要: The present invention provides a method of calculating certain body and mental rhythms, and then using this information to indirectly determine the state (flow, body and mental rhythms) which is also reflective of balance between the sympathetic and parasympathetic portions of the autonomic nervous system of the user. By calculating the HRV real time including High Frequency components of the heart information, and for example determining the flow by multiplying the Heart Rate frequency with the Heart Rate Variability, a new method for determining a user state is invented. It is efficient and effective method to use less power within a faster response time for determining such a state. It is applicable in the frequency and time domain.

摘要: Leak detection user interfaces are provided. In general, a user interface for a pipeline management system can be configured to provide information regarding one or more pipelines to a user. The information can include data gathered using one or more sensors sensing various parameters. The information on the user interface can include results of analysis of the gathered data, such as notifications that the gathered data indicates an anomaly with a pipeline. The notifications of anomalies can be provided on the user interface in real time with the data analysis. Accordingly, the user can trigger one or more corrective actions such as notifying maintenance personnel local to a location of the identified anomaly, remotely controlling the pipeline with the anomaly to close valve(s) and/or other equipment to prevent fluid flow in the pipeline in the area of the detected anomaly, etc.

摘要: The present invention relates to a device and a method associated with the device. With respect to the device, it is a wearable garment for the hand, wrist, and/or forearm with an embedded array of lights; one or more micro processing units; one or more touch or pressure activated switches, buttons, or toggles; one or more motion sensing mechanisms; and one or more wireless transmission components which is capable of receiving and transmitting information to a mobile computing device. A wireless transmission device is also disclosed which is attached or embedded in a vehicle connected to the turn signaling system. The mobile computing device such as a smartphone or GPS unit tracks the wearer's location and route and transmits a signal to the wearable garment when a turn approaches causing haptic feedback vibration to the wearer and activation of the embedded lights on the appropriate side. The wearable garment also transmits and receives signals from the wireless transmission device in the vehicle which activates or deactivates the turn signals on the vehicle when the wearable garment's lights and haptic feedback mechanisms are activated or deactivated, and reciprocally the lights and haptic feedback systems on the wearable garment when the turn signal on the vehicle is activated or deactivated. The wearable garment signaling system may be activated by the user's hand/arm motions, by actuation of embedded switches, buttons, or toggles, or by signal from the mobile computing device.

摘要: The disclosed fire detection system improves fire detection, e.g., aboard an aircraft, by optically monitoring an interior compartment to detect, at a first time, visible radiation in a visible light spectrum and thermal radiation in an infrared light spectrum. The fire detection system combines the detected radiation to generate a multi-spectrum image, spanning visible and infrared wavelengths, of the interior compartment at the first time to facilitate the detection of a fire event and/or threat within the interior compartment. As a result, the fire detection system provides situational awareness of a fire event and/or threat within the interior compartment.

摘要: Smart wearable devices and methods are disclosed for providing feedback for optimal placement of the wearable device. This includes systems and methods to lock or unlock a wearable device and/or notify external wearable/non-wearable devices depending on the states of the wearer by sending notification or providing feedback if mispositioned or repositioned on the wearer. A system and method are disclosed for providing a user indication of proper placement of a wearable device by providing feedback based on acquired bio-signal quality. In one embodiment, bio-signal quality is acquired by comparing a computed signal to noise ratio to that of an expected signal.
