摘要: A display driver integrated circuit includes a frame buffer, a plurality of image processing circuits and an image processing controller. The frame buffer sequentially stores a plurality of frame data received from a host processor. Each of the plurality of frame data includes a plurality of data slices. The image processing circuits perform image signal processing operations, respectively, on ones of the data slices that are included in a respective one of the plurality of frame data and which are sequentially retrieved from the frame buffer. The image processing controller bypasses at least one of the image processing circuits by applying a bypass control signal to the image processing circuits based on a first plurality of data slices included in a first one of the plurality of frame data and a second plurality of data slices included in a second one of the plurality of frame data.

摘要: This disclosure provides methods, devices, and systems for data synchronization. The present implementations more specifically relate to adjusting a rate at which display updates are output to a digital display based on an activity level associated with the digital display. For example, digital displays that render images with relatively little motion or user engagement may be associated with lower activity levels, whereas digital displays that render images with more significant motion or user engagement may be associated with higher activity levels. In some aspects, an adaptive display interface may dynamically increase the rate at which display frames are output to a display when the activity level increases and may dynamically decrease the rate at which display frames are output to the display when the activity level decreases.

摘要: Embodiments include methods and devices for per layer motion adaptive over-drive strength control for a display panel. Various embodiments may include determining motion information associated with a frame layer, determining an over-drive strength factor for the frame layer based at least in part on the motion information associated with the frame layer, and determining whether the over-drive strength factor is associated with computing a content difference. Various embodiments may include, in response to determining that the over-drive strength factor is associated with computing a content difference, performing fragment shading on the framebuffer object for the frame layer to generate an over-drive compensated framebuffer object for the frame layer based at least in part on the over-drive strength factor, and outputting the over-drive compensated framebuffer object for the frame layer to a default framebuffer for rendering on the display panel.

摘要: An electronic device includes a display panel, a nonvolatile memory, and a display driver circuit that includes a frame buffer and a display memory. The electronic device is connected with an external device through a video interface channel, and is connected with the display panel and the nonvolatile memory. In a first mode, the display driver circuit distributes and store data received through the video interface channel in the frame buffer and the display memory, and programs the data distributed and stored in the frame buffer and the display memory in the nonvolatile memory. In a second mode, the display driver circuit loads the data stored in the nonvolatile memory to the display memory, stores frame data received through the video interface channel in the frame buffer, generates compensated frame data by compensating for the frame data by using the data, and sends the compensated frame data to the display panel.
