摘要: A laser system includes a laser diode that, upon activation, selectively produces a continuous wave of laser light or uniformly spaced, intermittent pulses of laser light. The system further includes a laser focuser with a plurality of lenses that focus the laser light produces by the laser diode and direct the laser light to an optical resonator. The optical resonator includes a lasing medium that, when intersected by the laser light from the laser diode, produces a beam of laser light with a wavelength that may be used for therapeutic treatment. The system is operable to produce the therapeutic laser light when the laser diode is operating in either the continuous wave mode or the pulsed mode, without moving components of the system relative to one another.

A method of amplifying laser pulses is also described.

摘要: A system includes a heat sink module and a driving circuit module. The heat sink module includes stepped through-holes that each includes a cylindrical upper and lower portions connected by a ring-shaped surface. The bottom surface of the heat sink module includes grooves that respectively pass through the lower portions of respective sequences of the stepped through-holes. The driving circuit module includes conductive connectors and electrical driving surfaces that are disposed external to the heat sink module. Each conductive connector lies within a respective groove in the bottom surface of the heat sink module. The conductive connectors include internal connectors that each link at least two stepped through-holes in a respective sequence of stepped through-holes passed by a respective groove, and include external connectors that each link at least one stepped through-hole in the respective sequence of stepped through-holes to the electrical driving surfaces.

摘要: A surgical laser system includes a pump module configured to produce pump energy within an operating wavelength, a gain medium configured to convert the pump energy into first laser energy, a non-linear crystal (NLC) configured to convert a portion of the first laser energy into second laser energy, which is a harmonic of the first laser energy, an output, and a first path diversion assembly having first and second operating modes. When the first path diversion assembly is in the first operating mode, the first laser energy is directed along the output path to the output, and the second laser energy is diverted from the output path and the output. When the first path diversion assembly is in the second operating mode, the second laser energy is directed along the output path to the output, and the first laser energy is diverted from the output path and the output.

摘要: Disclosed is an exchangeable laser unit and an array thereof. The exchangeable laser unit includes cartridge receivers and housings having a uniform shape and uniform optical interfaces. The cartridge receiver adopts the optical interface including a tapered cavity and cylindrical cavity, so that a precise mechanical connection can be achieved between the output of laser of the cartridge receiver and the output of the optical fiber of the housing without professional tools, facilitating standardization of the output components of the laser elements of the cartridge receiver. In addition, the upper-lower guide rails and the upper-lower channels having certain of inclination degree can realize the precise positioning of the cartridge receiver and the housing. When replacing one laser element by a laser element that emits laser with a different wavelength, it is only necessary to replace the cartridge receiver inside the housing. That is, the replacement of laser elements having different wavelengths is converted to the replacement of cartridge receivers, which greatly reduces the difficulty for medical personnel to switch laser wavelengths, and improves the popularization of laser therapeutic instruments in the medical field. In the exchangeable laser array of the disclosure, the cartridge receiver inside the housing can be replaced by other cartridge receiver that emits laser with a different wavelength, and the plurality of housings can be connected with a plurality of wavelength switchers in the back to realize selective output of the wavelength.

摘要: A method for manufacturing an optical element includes a bonding step of bonding a first and a second element portion to each other without interposing an adhesive therebetween. The bonding step includes: a first step of fixing the first and the second element portion with an intermediate layer disposed between these portion, the intermediate layer containing an element substitutable for a constituent element of a bonded portion in the first and the second element portion, the intermediate layer being colored; and a second step of integrating a part of the intermediate layer with the first and the second element portion, and making a part of the intermediate layer transparent to laser light by irradiating the intermediate layer with giant pulse laser light and causing it to be absorbed into the intermediate layer after the first step.
