    摘要: A controller having a wireless transmission interface is provided. The controller includes an amplifier, an analog-to-digital converter, a digital filter, a processor, and a radio frequency signal transceiver. The amplifier is coupled to the wireless transmission interface, and generates an amplification signal according to an input signal. The analog-to-digital converter is coupled to the amplifier, and configured to convert the amplification signal into a digital format. The digital filter is coupled to the analog-to-digital converter, and configured to filter the amplification signal in the digital format to generate a filtered signal. The processor is coupled to the digital filter, and configured to perform a calculation on the filtered signal to generate a calculation result. The radio frequency signal transceiver is coupled to the processor, and obtains received information according to the calculation result and the filtered signal.

    摘要: An envelope tracking (ET) radio frequency (RF) front-end circuit is provided. The ET RF front-end circuit includes an ET integrated circuit(s) (ETIC(s)), a local transceiver circuit, a target voltage circuit(s), and a number of power amplifiers. The local transceiver circuit receives an input signal(s) from a coupled baseband transceiver and generates a number of RF signals. The target voltage circuit(s) generates a time-variant ET target voltage(s) based on the input signal(s). The ETIC(s) generates multiple ET voltages based on the time-variant ET target voltage(s). The power amplifiers amplify the RF signals based on the ET voltages. Given that the time-variant ET target voltage(s) is generated inside the self-contained ET RF front-end circuit, it is possible to reduce distortion in the time-variant ET target voltage(s), thus helping to improve operating efficiency of the power amplifiers, especially when the RF signals are modulated with a higher modulation bandwidth (e.g., ≥200 MHz).

    摘要: A method and system of compensating for component mismatch are disclosed. An example system comprises an amplifier including a current ratio measurement engine (CRME) and a modulator (DSM). The CRME is configured to obtain measurements for each possible configuration of an amplifier circuit and to pass these measurements to a processor for analysis. In the example system, the measurements are obtained by driving a bias current through two or more circuit elements and measuring the ratio in current between the two or more circuit elements, which is representative of the relative mismatch between the two or more components. The DSM is configured to receive adjustment parameters from the processor and to tune the amplifier circuit according to the adjustment parameters to thereby improve the performance of the amplifier.
