Die Erfindung beschreibt ein Verfahren sowie eine Vorrichtung zum Positionieren von zwei flächigen Elementen (2, 17) wie ein Glaselement (3) und eine Folie (18) aus Kunststoff aufeinander, bei dem ein Element (2, 17) an das andere Element (17, 2) möglichst spielfrei angelegt wird. Dazu wird zumindest eines der beiden voneinander distanzierten Elemente (2, 17) elektrostatisch aufgeladen und werden die beiden Elemente (2, 17) ausgehend von der distanzierten Position relativ' zueinander bewegt, bis einander zugewandte Oberflächen der beiden Elemente (2, 17) im Wesentlichen spielfrei aneinander liegen und durch elektrostatische Anziehungskraft relativ zueinander fixiert sind.

A multi-roll plastic sealing machine includes a driving extrusion roll and its driving motor, a driven extrusion roll, a heating assembly, a right frame and a left frame. The spindles of the driving and the driven extrusion rolls are installed parallelly above the right-and-left frames. The driving and the driven extrusion rolls are tangential. The heating assembly is adjacent to the driving and the driven extrusion rolls. The driven extrusion roll comprises an upper extrusion roll and a lower extrusion roll, which are at least respectively tangential to the driving extrusion roll. The upper driven extrusion roll, the driving extrusion roll and the lower driven extrusion roll are arranged from the top down. And two tangential rolls constitute respectively a pair of extruding roll, and the driving extrusion roll drives each of the driven extrusion rolls.

The invention provides a method of laminating a furniture item with silicone elastomer, having a cured Shore hardness of at least about 10. A silicone-laminated furniture item is also provided. The furniture item may be used in high-traffic areas, and is expected to have particular application in health care and other institutional environments.

The present invention provides a method for inlaying a design into a laminate sheet and bonding the inlaid laminate sheet to a core structure or core substrate. The method of the present invention includes the steps of die cutting a preselected inlay design out of a laminate sheet, die cutting a congruent insert to be placed in the aperture left by the die cut design, securing the insert into the die cut design aperture, laminating with heat and pressure the laminate sheet to a core material, and conducting a finishing operation such as trimming to clean the excess laminate sheet from around the edges of the core material.

The invention relates to a method for applying a seal (13; 13') to a lightly coloured semifinished product (11') that is covered with a surface protection film (12') coloured in a partially transparent manner. According to said method, if the semifinished product has an average peak-to-valley height Rz of between 10 and 60 ñm, the pressure rollers (21, 22') are provided with an embossed relief (23') consisting of an elastic material, by which means the surface protection film (12') is applied to the rough surface of the semifinished product (11'), in the region of the embossed relief (23'), with the adhesive layer thereof, and to the surface of the semifinished product (11'), only partially in the region of the protuberances, in the region outside the embossed relief (23'). For semifinished products with a low peak-to-valley height, a surface protection film with at least three layers is used, at least one of said three layers being a marking layer that has a lower stretchability than a carrier layer and is coloured in a partially transparent manner in such a way that it contrasts with the carrier layers. Before being applied to the semifinished product, the surface protection film is guided between an elastic counter-pressure roller and an embossing roller comprising at least one embossing die with raised sections corresponding to the contours of the seals, and is partially overstretched on said sections until the marking layer coloured in a partially transparent manner cracks, thus forming a long-lasting seal.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum automatisierten Applizieren von selbsthaftender Lackfolie auf ein räumlich gekrümmtes Karosserieteil (3) unter Verwendung eines robotergeführten Applikationswerkzeuges (33), wobei die Lackfolie als mehrlagiger Folienverbund aufnahmebereit bereitgelegt wird. Nach dem Aufnehmen wird mittels eines endseitig am Folienverbund angebrachten Anfassers ein klebeseitiger Schutzstreifen vom ausgespannt gehaltenen Folienzuschnitt abgezogen und so dessen Klebeseite freigelegt. Anschliessend wird der Lackfolienzuschnitt über dem zu beklebenden Karosserieteil (3) bei geringem Abstand zu ihm ausgerichtet und aus der beabstandeten Ausspannlage heraus mittels einer über die Lackfolie hinweg bewegten Rolle (45) oder Rakel (55) auf das Karosserieteil (3) fortschreitend angedrückt. Um auch grosse oder gekrümmt verlaufende Lackfolienzuschnitte bei vertretbaren Werkzeugkosten faltenfrei applizieren zu können, wird ein rechteckiger, die zu überklebende Karosseriepartie allseits überragender Folienverbund verwendet, der an allen vier Seiten in einem rechteckigen Saugrahmen (35) festgehalten wird. Dadurch kann während der Applikation der Lackfolie diese in Längs- und in Querrichtung unter Zugspannung gehalten werden. Zur Vereinfachung des Werkzeuges wird der klebeseitige Schutzstreifen stationär von der Lackfolie abgezogen.

The invention relates to a method for coating the outer side of a plastic element defining the outlet of a sanitary fitting. The invention also relates to an outlet part defining the outlet of a sanitary fitting. The invention is characterised in that the outlet part is produced as a plastic element carrying at least one layer of an adhesive or hot-stamping film on the outer side thereof, at least in a partial area. The invention enables a sanitary outlet part to be economically coated, said coating being characterised by its durability.
