The preservation system obtains information about the nutritional substance to be preserved, senses and measures the external environment to the preservation system, senses and measures the internal environment to the preservation system, senses and measures the state of the nutritional substance, and stores such information throughout the period of preservation. Using this accumulated information, the preservation system can measure, or estimate, changes in nutritional content (usually degradation) during the period of preservation. Additionally, the preservation system can use this information to dynamically modify the preservation system to minimize detrimental changes to the nutritional content of the nutritional substance, and in some cases actually improve the nutritional substance attributes.

A nucleophilic substitution reaction to crosslink cyclodextrin (CD) polymer with rigid aromatic groups, providing a high surface area, mesoporous CD-containing polymers (P- CDPs). The P-CDPs can be used for removing organic contaminants from water. By encapsulating pollutants to form well-defined host-guest complexes with complementary selectivities to activated carbon (AC) sorbents. The P-CDPs can rapidly sequester pharmaceuticals, pesticides, and other organic micropollutants, achieving equilibrium binding capacity in seconds with adsorption rate constants 15-200 times greater than ACs and nonporous CD sorbents. The CD polymer can be regenerated several times, through a room temperature washing procedure, with no loss in performance.

본 발명은 K-40 농도 계측에 의한 천일염 생산년도 추정방법천일염이 장시간 방치되면 구성 불용 원소들이 일정 비율로 빠져나가는 성질을 이용하여 감마핵종검출기를 통해 잔존 칼륨-40(K-40)의 양을 검출함으로써 천일염의 생산년도를 보다 용이하게 추정할 수 있도록 함에 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 구성되는 본 발명은 방사성 핵종분석기를 통해 천일염 또는 해당 천일염으로부터 녹아 나오는 간수를 대상으로 방사성 핵종 원소인 칼륨-40의 농도를 측정하되 측정된 칼륨-40 농도를 통해 해당 천일염의 생산년도를 추정할 수 있도록 한 구성으로 이루어진다. 이때, 방사성 핵종분석기를 통해 측정된 칼륨-40(K-40) 농도가 130∼220 Bq/kg의 범위에 해당할 경우에는 해당 천일염의 생산년도를 1∼2년으로 추정하고, 측정된 칼륨-40 농도가 130 Bq/kg 이하인 경우에는 해당 천일염의 생산년도를 3년 이상으로 추정할 수 있다.
