Abstract: Systems and methods for modularized design for inter-physical layer priority uplink control information (UCI) multiplexing are disclosed herein. A user equipment (UE) may determine a first code rate for a first portion of UCI and a second code rate for a second portion of UCI. Different code rates may be used to encode different portions of UCI (e.g., hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) bits, channel state information (CSI) reporting bits, scheduling request (SR) bits, cyclic redundancy check (CRC) bits, etc.). Further, a UE may select a group of bets offset sets based on a physical layer priority type and a UCI multiplexing type.

Abstract: An apparatus and system are described to provide enhanced Type-3 HARQ-ACK codebook transmission are described. A gNB configures a UE for hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ)-acknowledgment (ACK) (HARQ- ACK) retransmission using the enhanced Type-3 codebook using radio resource control signaling. The enhanced Type-3 codebook is triggered by downlink control information (DCI) format 1_1 or 1_2 and transmitted using a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) or a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH). Information in the DCI includes: whether to use configured, activated, or indicated carriers, cell indexes for the carriers, whether to use all HARQ processes, use only semi -persistent scheduling (SPS) processes, or use only non-SPS processes, whether to use all priority HARQ processes, use only high priority HARQ processes, or use only low priority HARQ processes, and HARQ process range.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive multiple downlink control information (DCI) messages from a base station, where each of the multiple DCI messages schedules a respective downlink transmission. Some of the DCI messages may be multiplexed with downlink transmissions. The UE may identify, for each downlink transmission multiplexed with one of the multiple DCI messages, a time period including a beginning of the downlink transmission, and the UE may determine an order of the multiple DCI messages based on the time period. The UE may transmit a feedback message to the base station for the respective downlink transmissions based on the determined order. The UE may transmit the feedback message to the base station on uplink resources indicated by a last DCI message in the determined order.

Abstract: Aspects relate to prioritizing sidelink reference signals (SL-RSs) when the resources scheduled for two SL-RSs or corresponding reports generated based on SL-RSs at least partially overlap in the time domain. In some examples, the SL-RSs may be prioritized based on at least one prioritization rule associated with the SL-RSs. The prioritization rule(s) enable a wireless communication device to select one of the SL-RSs for communication of a corresponding sidelink communication (e.g., SL-RS or report) within the overlapping resources. The wireless communication device may further transmit a feedback indication indicating whether a sidelink communication was selected or dropped.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, a user equipment (UE) may transmit feedback signaling for received sidelink messages to both the base station and the transmitting UE. The receiving UE may multicast a feedback message to both the base station and the transmitting UE on a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) or on a physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH). The base station may configure the receiving UE with resources, the transmitting UE may allocate resources to the receiving UE, or the base station may actively monitor for the feedback message. In some examples, the receiving UE may operate in a dual connectivity mode, and may transmit the feedback message to both the base station and the transmitting UE on both the PUCCH and the PSFCH.

Abstract: A wireless device determines a discontinuous reception (DRX) pattern for sidelink communication and performs sidelink activity within a DRX ON duration of the DRX pattern. A wireless device may transmit a sidelink discovery message including information about a DRX pattern of the first wireless device and may monitor for sidelink communication based on the DRX pattern. A second wireless device may receive a sidelink discovery message from the first wireless device including information about a DRX pattern of the first wireless device and may exchange sidelink communication with the first wireless device based on the DRX pattern.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method performed by a wireless communication device comprises receiving a configuration of a first spatial relation or a first Transmission Configuration Indication (TCI) state and a second spatial relation or a second TCI state for an uplink channel and transmitting the uplink channel a number of times in a first set of resources according to the first spatial relation/TCI state and in a second set of resources according to the second spatial relation/TCI state. The method further comprises receiving a Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) carrying a Media Access Control (MAC) control element (CE), transmitting a Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request Acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) associated with the PDSCH in the uplink channel, and applying the MAC CE command according to a timing that is based on a slot or sub-slot over which a last transmission repetition of the uplink channel is transmitted.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station during a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring occasion (PMO), first downlink control information (DCI) scheduling the UE for a first physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) resource on a first component carrier and for a second PDSCH resource on a second component carrier. The UE may receive, during the PMO, second DCI scheduling the UE for a third PDSCH resource on the second component carrier. The UE may identify a set of downlink assignment indices (DAIs) for the first DCI and the second DCI, where the first DCI has one or more DAIs whose values are based on the first DCI scheduling PDSCH resources on different component carriers. The UE may transmit feedback based on the set of DAIs.
