The vehicle can be used for transportation or recreation. The rider can choose to propel the vehicle by either manipulating the steering mechanism back and forth to "walk" the vehicle forward or backward across the ground or propel it with one foot upon the vehicle and one pushing off of the ground or with ski poles. The vehicle offers all of the mobility of a scooter or skateboard but with the added stability and safety of five wheels. Seated or standing riders can use the scooter. A seated rider can sit directly on the frame or an raised seat platform. It can be adapted to employ foot manipulation to produce the back and forth "walking" propulsion. The vehicle is capable of adaptation to provide either foot or hand steering. The vehicle is capable of many incarnations including a steerable skateboard, a steerable snowboard and a steerable sidewalk ski-board.

The invention involves the manual driving mechanism for a three- or more wheel vehicle, such as to enable transmission of circular hand-driven movement through gear connection of the main gear (1) and the intermediate gears (2, 2'), as well as via friction wheels (2a, 2b, 2a', 2b') to the driven wheel (4) of the vehicle with appropriate shift ratio and simple driving control forwards or backwards along with the possibility of braking and sudden stopping and/or blocking of the driven wheel (4). The mechanism is constructed in the way that it can be mounted and/or built on to the existing vehicle, e.g. a wheelchair following a simple intervention.

A transportation vehicle (100) for transporting an individual over ground having a surface that may be irregular. The vehicle has a support platform (112) for supporting the subject and the support platform is coupled to a ground-contacting module at a pivot (118). While the ground-contacting module may be statically stable, balance of the support platform with respect to the ground-contacting module (104) is maintained by motion of the ground-contacting module in response to leaning of the support platform. A motorized drive coupled to the ground-contacting module causes locomotion of the vehicle and the subject therewith over the surface, while a control loop, in which the motorized drive is included, dynamically enhances stability in the fore-aft plane by operation of the motorized drive in connection with the ground-contacting module. In the event of failure of the control loop, the pivot connection of the support platform to the ground-contacting module may be locked, thereby ensuring stability of the static assembly.

The axes of rotation of the two wheels (1, 2) are situated substantially in one horizontal line or in one vertical plane. Consequently, the vehicle is very compact.

The described device demonstrates an apparatus and method for a collapsible wheeled walker or rollator that includes a pair of height adjustable armrests or supports. The armrests may be selectively articulated about hinge or pivot attached to a support tube. The articulating armrest may be locked into a stationary position via a locking pin for use as a typical standing rollator. Alternatively, the armrests are articulable about a hinge when the locking pin is removed, where a damper is interconnected between the hinge and a handle tube attached to the armrests to provide resistance to the movement of the armrests allowing a user to exercise arm muscles while using the wheeled walker. As such the disclosed device operates as both a wheeled walker and an exercise mechanism for the user's arms and upper body.

A foldable walker having an arcuate front and rear leg frames pivotably connected by a hinge which permits the two leg frames to covert from an open configuration, with the front wheels engaging the ground and spaced a first distance from the rear wheels, to a folded configuration with the front wheels closer to the rear wheels. The walker includes a seat which can convert from a horizontal seat position to a vertical backrest position, and a height adjustable and pivotable foot rest.

An ebike comprises a front wheel, a rear wheel, a frame structure supported on the front wheel and the rear wheel, a crank assembly, and a battery assembly. The frame structure can include a front fork supported on the front wheel, a head tube coupled to the front fork, and a down tube extending downward and rearward from the head tube, the down tube defining a down tube axis and being open at its lower end. The crank assembly can be supported by the frame structure and can be rotatable about a crank axis that is spaced rearward from the down tube axis. The battery assembly can be at least partially secured in the down tube in an installed position and can be slidable into the down tube from the lower end of the down tube along the down tube axis.

Afín de disponer de una bicicleta elíptica que pueda ser usada por personas de todas las edades con seguridad, comodidad y maniobrabilidad, hemos creado una bicicleta con mecanismos originales y sencillos, logrando que el operador se sienta seguro al subirse a ella y poder manejar con facilidad y agrado y pueda disfrutar del viaje. Gracias a estos mecanismos y diseños originales logramos crear una bicicleta compacta y de fácil y seguro traslado de un lugar a otro, esto se debe al tener la posibilidad de bajar el manubrio y a la vez también poder plegar la columna de dirección y además por tener un sistema motriz compacto, silencioso y simple que se compone de pisaderas, pedales, masa de velocidades y ruedas, tenemos la ventaja de un viaje de forma simple y segura, además posee un sistema de cambio de velocidades que pueden ser de 3 hasta 12 velocidades diferentes y con sistema de frenos de tenazas en rueda trasera y delantera.
