Abstract:
An electrostatic actuator driving device which has a small size, a light weight, and a high output power, and saves electric power, and a safe helping device which utilizes such a driving device and is movable freely. First and second switching means are controlled to alternately electrically connect the lower-voltage winding of a transformer to the DC voltage source or the high-voltage winding of the transformer to the electrostatic actuator actuating section and electrical energy is repeatedly transferred in an arbitrary direction between a DC voltage source and an electrostatic actuator actuating section.

Abstract:
A color cathode-ray tube comprising a perforated molded mask (6) curved inward in the middle between its two opposite sides and having round corners, and a support frame (7) curved outward in the middle between its two opposite sides and having round corners, wherein the corners of the mask (6) are respectively brought into contact with the corners of the frame (7). The frame (7) has a stud on each side and it is located inside the straight line connecting the adjacent points of contact between the corners of the mask (6) and the frame (7). Therefore, the alignment accuracy between a shadow mask structure (5) and phosphor film and the magnetic shielding of the color cathode-ray tube can be improved.
Abstract:
A technique that allows a logic designer to perform in a short period of time an optimum arrangement, in terms of processing speed, of logic elements of a semiconductor integrated circuit. Logic blocks are arranged at desired locations on the display screen and the relation of connection among the logic blocks is displayed, using a logic block file which includes at least the names of logic blocks, the logic sizes and the connection relation among logic blocks. Referring to a logic block relation table, the logic designer can easily recognize the adequacy of the arrangement.
Abstract:
An air conditioner constituting a refrigerating cycle by connecting a compressor, a heat exchanger and an expansion valve in sequence, the air conditioner comprising an indoor unit (14c) allowing a first outdoor unit (15a) using a first refrigerant as an operating refrigerant and a second outdoor unit (15b) using as an operating refrigerant a second refrigerant that is different from the first refrigerant to be connected thereto, and an expansion valve (5) provided in the indoor unit (14c) and adapted to be controlled by instructions from the outdoor units, whereby the control of the refrigerating cycle is performed by changing control values in accordance with the outdoor units connected to the indoor unit, thereby making it possible to obtain an air conditioner that can handle a plurality of refrigerants and can operate using different refrigerants without changing the indoor unit, and a mediun storing operating control programs for the same air conditioner.
Abstract:
A printer in which transfer rollers for holding a printing medium are lifted up to release the medium before printing, and a rotatry arm is turned to move the released medium toward a lateral guide so as to set the medium in a predetermined position. The medium is then held again between the transfer rollers, transferred to a printing section by rotating the same rollers, and printed, whereby the printing can be done with a high printing accuracy.
Abstract:
A method for working a semiconductor wafer by which a highly accurate flat surface of a semiconductor wafer is formed with a high controllability by working a film formed on the uneven surface of a semiconductor wafer with a vertical working face having a diameter which is 1-2 times larger than that of the wafer while a working solution is supplied from a supplying port provided in the working face. Since the working face has a small diameter, the surface to be worked can be dressed in a high quality. Moreover, since the working face is vertical, any semiconductor wafer can be worked easily, even though the diameter of the wafer is larger.
Abstract:
To highly accurately execute analog-to-digital conversion of signals of an air flow meter irrespective of fluctuation of a reference voltage of an analog-to-digital conversion circuit. A thermal air flow meter including means for measuring an intake air volume by heating and controlling a thermal resistance body and means for executing analog-to-digital conversion of air flow rate signals of the flow rate measurement means, which inputs a reference voltage to the analog-to-digital conversion circuit so that the reference voltage is converted from the analog signal to the digital signal by the analog-to-digital conversion circuit, and the air flow rate signal can be corrected in accordance with the voltage value of the reference voltage. A/D conversion of the air flow rate signal can be executed accurately even when the reference power source voltage of the A/D converter of an electronic controller fluctuates.
Abstract:

The power circuit section is provided with a plurality of circuit parts which are electrically connected to the wires and respectively united, and a plurality of terminals which are bonded to the wires. Therefore, a highly reliable power semiconductor module is realized at a low cost.
Abstract:
A mask spring comprises a base plate (25) and a joined plate (30). The base plate (25) is an L-shaped bimetal. The joined plate (30) is fixed to one end of the base plate (25). The mask spring is interposed between a support frame and a panel pin. Hence the deterioration of color purity resulting from the beam landing shift caused by the difference between the expansions of the shadow mask and the support frame is prevented. The deterioration of color purity caused by the ambient temperature is also prevented. Therefore, a color cathode-ray tube which maintains a stable color purity is provided.
