Abstract:
The present invention relates to an assembling structure of field coil, which has a simple mounting structure for a diode and a resistor to cut an off-noise of an electromagnetic clutch and to prevent damage of peripheral parts due to surge voltage generation when power source applied to an electronic coil body is cut off, thereby improving a mounting efficiency, reducing a manufacturing cost by reduction of the number of parts, and realizing an automatic production. The assembling structure of field coil includes an electronic coil body(101), a core ring(110) and a sleeve(120) having a first and second terminals(131)(132), and a case that has a central connection part(135) and a first and second connection parts(136)(137).
Abstract:
A clutch, comprising a clutch disk (12), a calliper means (10) which carries opposite friction pads (24, 25) between which the clutch disc (12) is accommodated, said clutch disc (12) and calliper means (10) each being connected to one of an ingoing (9) and an outgoing (13) member, biasing means (32) for urging the opposite friction pads (24, 25) into frictional engagement with the clutch disc (12), motor means (2, 3) as well as screw actuation means (17-22) which are driveable by the motor means (2, 3) for displacing the opposite friction pads (24, 25) with respect to each other against the biasing force exerted by the biasing means (32), characterized in that the screw actuation means comprise two screw/nut actuators (17-22) with opposite screw threads, which screw/nut actuators (17-22) are coaxial to the clutch disc (12), one of the nut (17, 18) and screw (21, 22) of each actuator being rotatably supported with respect to either the ingoing (9) or the outgoing (13) member, and the other of said nut (17, 18) and screw (21, 22) of each actuator engaging the opposite friction pads (24, 25), the motor means (2, 3) comprising two motors which each are coaxial to the clutch disc (12) and which are driveably connected to a respective screw/nut actuator (17-22).
Abstract:
An electrically actuated clutch assembly (10) for a compressor in an automotive air conditioner is described in which clutch engagement to and disengagement with the compressor are momentary events wherein the stationary coil (18) and the latch plate solenoids (22) are activated to cause the locking solenoid pins (24) to engage and disengage the intermediate latch plate assembly (28) to the compressor hub plate (12) such that no electrical current is required to maintain the on and off states of the clutch.
Abstract:
Abstract:
In a clutch (10) with a stationary electromagnet (46) to couple an armature (56) to a rotor (12), the rotor has inner and outer cylindrical portions (14, 24) connected at one end by an annular clutch portion (16) with inner and outer arcuate slots (18, 22) which extend through the clutch portion (16) from radial locations at the clutching surface (60) to closer radial locations on the other side of the portion (16). The portion (24) may have on its outer surface either a poly V groove (42), or a V groove (472), or gear teeth (166).
