A clutch mechanism for coupling and uncoupling an electric motor and leadscrew has dog-clutch gears that can be engaged by a linear actuator, bell crank, and linkage shaft. Uncoupling force due to narrowed dog teeth are resisted by the alignment of the linkage shaft with the central portion of the bell crank.

A particular embodiment includes: a hybrid hinge for an electronic device, the hybrid hinge comprising: a pivot; and an auxiliary component including one or more electro-magnetic or electro-mechanical devices and a variable electrical power source, the one or more electro- magnetic or electro-mechanical devices being configured to apply a variable degree of torque force to the pivot based on a degree of electrical power supplied by the electrical power source.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Antriebsvorrichtung (20) für Ein-/Ausstiegseinrichtungen für Fahrzeuge des öffentlichen Personenverkehrs. Diese weist eine Verrieglungsvorrichtung zum Ver-/und Entriegeln der Ein- /Ausstiegseinrichtungen und einer Antriebseinheit (22) auf, die in einer sich bei Öffnungs-und Schließvorgängen um eine Rotationsachse Z-Z drehenden Drehsäule (24), die die Ein-/Ausstiegseinrichtung öffnet und schließt, angeordnet ist und diese antreibt. Sie ist über ein Haltebauteil (40) am Fahrzeug gehalten ist, wobei das Haltebauteil (40) als Gegenlager für ein Drehmoment der Antriebseinheit (22) wirkt, ein Betätigungselement (74) aufweist, das mit der Antriebseinheit (22) und mit der Verriegelungsvorrichtung verbunden ist, wobei beim Öffnungsvorgang der Ein-/Ausstiegseinrichtungbei Erzeugung eines Drehmomentes durch die Antriebseinheit zunächst das Betätigungselement (74) zur Betätigung der Verriegelungsvorrichtung bewegt und erst anschließend das Drehmoment der Antriebseinheit (22) auf die Ein- /Ausstiegseinrichtung übertragen wird.

The invention relates to a vehicle door with a window lifter actuated by a motor and with a window pane, the position of which can be adjusted by means of the window lifter along a displacement path for opening and/or closing, wherein the window lifter comprises a first guiding rail that in the longitudinal extension thereof extends along a plane substantially perpendicular to the window pane, wherein the window lifter further comprises a first carrier element that is moveable together with the window pane along the first guiding rail, and wherein a bearing of the first carrier element is provided opposite the first guiding rail by means of at least one rolling friction element.

A drive mechanism is provided for a door operator, comprising a drive member and a driven member. The drive member includes a protrusion, the edges of the protrusion forming first and second driving surfaces which define a free space of at least about 90° there between. The driven member includes a protrusion, the sides of the protrusion form a first and a second driven surface, respectively. The drive member is adapted to be operably connected to between a motor assembly for rotating the drive member and a door closer assembly rotating with the driven member. The drive member and the driven member are disposed for relative rotation in substantially the same plane such that the driven member protrusion moves in the free space defined by the driving surfaces of the drive member protrusion. Rotation of the drive member from a first angular orientation to a second angular orientation in a direction toward an adjacent driven surface causes rotation of the driven member for powered opening of the door from the closed position to the open position. The driven member protrusion moves in the free space without engaging the protrusion surfaces when the door is opened manually from the closed position and allowed to close.

A sliding door drive assembly is used with a motor vehicle having an electric energy source and a sliding door. The sliding door drive assembly includes a motor that is electrically connected to the electric energy source. The motor converts electric energy into a rotating force. The sliding door drive assembly also includes a transmission that is operatively connected to the motor for transmitting the rotating force to an output shaft. A cable drum is fixedly secured to the output shaft and rotates with the output shaft. First and second cables are wound about the cable drum in opposite directions. The first cable extends from the cable drum forward along a path to the sliding door. The second cable extends from the cable drum rearward along the path toward the sliding door. The sliding door drive assembly also includes support guides extending tangentially out from the cable drum to guide the first and second cables outwardly and away from the cable drum along a path minimizing frictional forces.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine elektromagnetische reibschlüssige Schaltkupplung (1) mit einem einen Reibbelag (2) aufweisenden Rotorteil (4), wobei an dem Rotorteil (4) eine elektrische Spule (6) und ein erster Permanentmagneten (14) angeordnet sind, sowie einer drehfest, aber axial von einer eingekuppelten in eine ausgekuppelte Endstellung verschiebbare mit einer zweiten Welle (9) verbundene Ankerscheibe (10). Um zu erreichen, daß die Spule (6) der Schaltkupplung (1) sowohl im eingekuppelten Zustand als auch im ausgekuppelten Zustand stromfrei sein kann, schlägt die Erfindung vor, Mittel (15; 20) vorzusehen, welche auf die Ankerscheibe (10) eine axiale, der Magnetkraft des ersten Permanentmagneten (14) entgegengerichtete Kraft ausüben. Dabei sind der erste Permanentmagnet (14) und die Mittel (15; 20) derart gewählt, daß die durch den Permanentmagneten und die Mittel auf die Ankerscheibe ausgeübte resultierende Kraft bei nicht bestromter Spule (6) die Ankerscheibe (10) gegen den Reibbelag (2) des Rotorteiles (4) drückt, wenn sich die Ankerscheibe (10) in ihrer eingekuppelten Endstellung befindet und die Ankerscheibe (10) gegen einen von dem Reibbelag (2) des Rotorteiles (4) axial beabstandeten Anschlag (19) drückt, wenn sie sich in ihrer ausgekuppelten Endstellung befindet. Die elektrische Spule (6) ist derart mit Strom beaufschlagbar, daß das dadurch erzeugte Magnetfeld die Ankerscheibe (10) in Abhängigkeit von der Richtung des Stromes in ihre ein- oder in ihre ausgekuppelte Endstellung verschiebt.

An arrangement in a swing door apparatus (1) comprising a door closer (2), the piston means (3) of which drives a driving shaft (4), which is turned in accordance with the door motions, and an actuator (7), e.g. an electric motor (7), the operating shaft (8) of which is in operative connection with said piston means (3) for providing the opening motion of the door. Switch means (9) are arranged between the operating shaft (8) of the actuator and the piston means (3), which switch means are arranged to switch off the drive from the actuator (7) to the piston means (3) at least while the door is being closed.
