    摘要： A tape for a tamper evident container includes an ethylene/vinyl ester copolymer, wherein the ethylene/vinyl ester copolymer has a melt index of between 5 and 3,000, and a weight average molecular weight of between 5,000 and 100,000 Daltons. The tape can be crosslinked. A tamper evident container includes a first portion; an opening capable of providing access to the interior of the tamper evident container; a closure portion arranged to be superposable with the first portion; an adhesive, applied to the first portion or closure portion; and a tape disposed, on super-position of the first portion and the closure portion, adjacent to the opening, wherein the tape comprises an ethylene/vinyl ester copolymer having a melt index of between 5 and 3,000, and a weight average molecular weight of between 5,000 and 100,000 Daltons.

    摘要： A dispensing apparatus (10) for serially dispensing plastic bags from a wound roll of continuous flexible plastic bags (AA) joined along perforated severance lines (24). A container (12) is provided which is adapted to receive the wound roll of plastic bags (AA). The container has a bottom (18), a pair of opposed sides (14) having an inwardly facing flange (16) extending therefrom, and separating tongue (20) projecting outward from the bottom. The flanges define a self-threading slide for threading the plastic bags from the wound roll along a predetermined path onto the separating tongue. The separating tongue separates the plastic bags from the wound roll as the plastic bags engage the separation tongue along a predetermined path of travel. A mounting bracket (22) cooperates with the bottom to mount the container to a solid surface in a plurality of different positions while maintaining the desired orientation of the container, to ensure that the wound roll is biased against the bottom and the flanges for self-braking of the wound roll and for limiting overspinning thereof as plastic bags are serially separated therefrom.

    摘要： An inflatable laminated article is prepared by contacting a first film (8) with a second film (10), and heating selected portions of at least one the first and second films to a temperature above a fusion temperature of the first and second films, so that the first and second films are heat sealed to one another. The heat sealing is carried out in a pattern which provides a plurality of inflatable chambers between the first film and the second film. The first and second films are forwarded at a speed of at least "0,6096m/s" (120 feet per minute) while coming into contact with one another. The heating is carried out by contacting the first film with a heated raised surface roller (16) having a release coating thereon.

    摘要： A bag dispenser (10), for separating and dispensing plastic bags (22, 23) from a roll of bags (20) where one end is attached to the top of the next bag by perforation lines (24) with a slot (25) therebetween. The bags (22, 23) are dispensed from a device (30) comprising a wire frame formed into arcuate channels (34, 34') to support the core (26) that the series of bags are rolled onto. The dispenser (10) includes a second tensioning member (40, 40') attached to a support member (32) and disposed at an angle thereto to provide tension to the edges of the roll of bags (20) as the core passes (26) through the channel passageway as bags are removed from the roll. Spaced apart from the support is a symmetric separating tongue (42). The tongue (42) will engage the slot (25) regardless of whether the bags are drawn over or under the tongue (42). As the user pulls on the bags (22, 23), a tension is created by the brake and the user to deflect the tongue (42) which remains deflected until the tongue (42) engages the slot (25). Thus, when the separator engages the slot (25), the tongue (42) recoils through its normal position to facilitate the separation of the two bags (22, 23). The dispenser (10) may also include core retaining members (38), located at the closed end of the arcuate channels (34) to keep the core (26) of smaller rolls from popping out and to retard rotation of the core.
