Abstract:
A process for reducing dimethylamine content in metformin hydrochloride is disclosed. The process comprises: (a) providing metformin hydrochloride having dimethylamine content more than 15 ppm; (b) pulverizing the metformin hydrochloride; (c) slurrying the metformin hydrochloride in one or more Cj-C4 alcohol solvents; and (d) isolating the metformin hydrochloride.
Abstract:
Provided are methods for enhanced sequencing of nucleic acid templates. Also provided are reaction conditions that increase branching fractions during polymerization reactions. Also provided are compositions comprising modified recombinant polymerases that exhibit branching fractions that are higher than the branching fractions of the polymerases from which they were derived. Provided are compositions comprising modified recombinant polymerases that exhibit delayed translocation relative to the polymerases from which they were derived. Also provided are compositions comprising modified recombinant polymerases that exhibit increased nucleotide or nucleotide analog residence time at an active site of the polymerase. Provided are methods for generating polymerases with the aforementioned phenotypes and methods of using such polymerases to sequence a DNA template or make a DNA. Also provided are methods and nucleic acid sequencing systems for determining which labeled nucleotide is incorporated at a site during a template-dependent polymerization reaction.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a horizontal form-fill-and seal machine for creating pouches, having a partition, dividing the pouch cavity into two compartments for two components of a product, to be separately contained. The said horizontal machine comprises an unwinding station, having more than one unwind web reel, configured for forming front and back web faces of said pouches along with a partition web membrane. The machine discloses a sensing means configured for sensing a photo mark position, in at least one of said unwound webs, and providing a feedback of said photo mark position, to align a longitudinal position of a web face with respect to another web face or marks, when a print matter, on either or both said webs faces, is to be registered, in a longitudinal direction, before being fed to a common nip.

Abstract:
A system (100) includes an energy storage system (114) capable of receiving electrical energy from an energy source (102) and can supply electrical energy to a first load during a first period and to the first load during a second period. The first load differs in usage rate from the first period relative to the second period. A system controller maintains the energy storage system such that the energy storage system maintains a first amount of stored electrical energy during a first mode, and a second amount of electrical energy during a second mode. The system controller maintains the energy storage system in the first mode during a first portion of the first period, and in the second mode during a second portion of the first period.
