Abstract:
The invention relates to a capillary blood sampling device, incorporating a filter and, downstream of the same, an absorbent material for separating a blood plasma phase from a cellular phase, characterised in that the filter comprises successively: a pre-filter (6) for distributing the blood on the surface of a first membrane (2) with pores of size 0.1 µm to 5 µm, said membrane being provided with an agglomeration agent and said first membrane (2).
Abstract:
Device for aliquoting and filtering blood, comprising: an element (1, 10) for collecting blood (S); a capillary conduit (2) which has a capillary force greater than that of said collecting element and is in fluid communication therewith; and a dispensing element (3) which has a capillary force greater than that of the capillary conduit and is in fluid communication therewith; characterized in that said dispensing element comprises a filtering device (3) for separating blood cells from plasma.
Abstract:
Device for the separation of a liquid suspension (S), comprising a continuous liquid phase (PL) and at least one dispersed phase (GB, GR), said phases having different densities. Said device comprises a first duct (C1) with at least one curved section, at least one second duct (C2), also with a curved section, running parallel to said first duct on the outside of the curve of the latter and at least one chamber (CL), separating said first and second ducts and in turn being curved. A longitudinal slot (F) is arranged in said chamber running along the curved section of the chamber and communicating between said first and second ducts such as to permit the exchange of material between them, said slot (F) being essentially arranged at the mid-point of said chamber (CL). The invention further relates to a method for separation of a liquid suspension using said device.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a magnetic actuator comprising a mobile magnetic part (4), a fixed magnetic part (5) and means for starting the displacement of the mobile magnetic part (4) with respect to the fixed magnetic part (5). The inventive actuator comprises at least two amagnetic supports (1, 2) arranged on the different planes, whereby forming a space (3) therebetween. The fixed magnetic part (5) is connected at least to one of the supports (1, 2). Each support (1, 2) is provided with a stop area (10, 20) for the mobile magnetic part (4) which is separated from the fixed magnetic part (5). The mobile magnetic part (4) is in levitation in the space (3) between two supports (1,2) as a result of a magnetic guidance produced by the fixed magnetic part (5) when it is not abutted against the stop area (10,20) of the supports (1, 2). The mobile magnetic part (4) is enable to take several stable magnetic positions when it is abutted against the supports (1, 2).
