Shower tray (10) having a heat exchanger (1), wherein the heat exchanger (1) is arranged beneath the shower tray (10) for recovering heat from waste water in order to heat up clean water, wherein a first heat-exchanger surface (17) is in contact with the waste water and a second heat-exchanger surface is in contact with the clean water, and the first heat-exchanger surface (17) forms the floor, or part of the floor, of the shower tray (10). The shower tray here is produced from aluminium or from an aluminium alloy, or the shower tray is produced from a steel alloy and, in the region of the tray floor (12), beneath the shower tray (10), a base plate (13) made of some other metal is fastened on the tray floor (12), as a result of which a heat-conducting connection to the tray floor (12) is formed substantially over the entire surface of the base plate (13), and, once again beneath said base plate (13), tubes (14) are connected to the base plate (13) in an integral manner, in particular by welding or soldering, wherein said tubes (14) form the second heat-exchanging surface.

A water purification device comprises an expandable water collecting device (1) having a variable volume, wherein at least part of the surface of the water collecting device comprises a filter area (2), the filter area (2) being permeable to water and allowing water to enter the water collecting device (1) when the filter area (2) is submerged in water. The device further comprises a mechanically driven expansion means (3, 4) for exerting a force for increasing the volume of the water collecting device (1) and thereby drawing water through the filter area into the water collecting device (1). In use, the water collecting device (1) is submerged and the expansion means is released, drawing water into the water collecting device (1) through the filter membrane (2).

The invention relates to a device for diverting mechanical oscillations, which may be made to oscillate longitudinally along a first axis at an oscillation introduction point and transfer such an osculation into an oscillation along a second axis at an oscillation decoupling point, wherein the first axis and the second axis form an angle to each other. The device is essentially characterised in having a longitudinally curved oscillation element with an introduction point at the one end thereof and a decoupling point at the other end thereof, wherein the device is designed such that the oscillation element oscillates transversally at the introduction point and the decoupling point when the oscillation introduction point is subjected to an oscillation.

An orthopaedic ratcheting forceps, especially for fixation of fractures, comprises two handles (2, 12), wherein a first catching element (5) is mounted pivotally with one handle (2 or 12) and wherein a complementary catching element (25) is mounted on the other handle (12 or 2). The forceps can assume only two stable settings which can be switched with a single hand, one closed setting within which the jaws (4) of the forceps can only be further closed and an open setting within which the handles (2, 12) of the forceps are freely movable, so that the forceps can be opened as well as closed. In one handle (12) a leaf spring (28) is provided and biased between two mounting points (27; 13) which spring (28) is mounted between abutting side walls (14, 24) within said handle (12). Furthermore a lever end (25) connected with one of the catching elements (26) engages the spring (28) and through movement of the activation element (32) the lever end (25) and/or the spring (28) is switchable between the closed setting and the open setting.
