The presently claimed invention is directed to the use of 1-alkoxyethyl-4-isobutyl-benzene of formula (I) to impart an aroma impression to a composition. The presently claimed invention also relates to a method of imparting such aroma impression. The present invention is further directed to compositions comprising the compound of formula (I) and at least one aroma chemical as well as to compositions comprising the compound of formula (I) and at least one further component selected from the group consisting of aroma chemicals, surfactants, oil components, anti-oxidants, deodorant-active agents and solvents. The present invention also relates to a compound of formula (Iʼ).

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Acrylamido-tert.-butyl-sulfonsäure durch Bestimmen des Wasseranteils eines wasserhaltigen Acrylnitrils und Mischen des wasserhaltigen Acrylnitrils mit Oleum, dessen gelöste Menge an Schwefeltrioxid derart gewählt ist, dass dieses vollständig mit dem im Acrylnitril enthaltenen Wasser zu Schwefelsäure reagiert und ein Restwassergehalt in der Mischung von 0,01 Gew.-% bis 0,2 Gew.-% bezogen auf die Summe der Mengen an wasserhaltigem Acrylnitril und Oleum verbleibt; sowie gleichzeitigem oder nachträglichem Zumischen von gasförmigem Isobuten zur Umsetzung zu Acrylamido-tert.-butyl-sulfonsäure, wobei Acrylnitril im molaren Überschuss zu Isobuten eingesetzt wird. Die Erfindung betrifft weiterhin ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Copolymers aus der derart hergestellten Acrylamido-tert.-butyl-sulfonsäure sowie mindestens einem weiteren ungesättigten Monomer, wie Acrylamid.

The present invention relates to substituted 4-methylene-tetrahydropyrans, 4-methyl- dihydropyrans and 4-methyl-tetrahydropyrans of formula (I), where the variables are as defined in the claims and description, to a stereoisomer thereof, to a mixture of stereoisomers thereof, to a mixture of different di- and tetrahydropyrans (I) and to a mixture containing at least one di- or tetrahydropyran (I) and at least one cyclic acetal which is a 1,3-dioxan carrying in 2-position an isobutanol-2-yl- (derived) substituent and in 4,4- or 5,5-position two methyl substituents.
