The invention is directed to a dynamic notification system configured to allow a product to send one or more notifications to a user in a dynamic and programmable manner, without having a constant connection to a smart device, and without being constantly in an operation mode, said system comprising: a product configured to be synchronized with a smart device of said user for obtaining at least one notification to be executed by at least one output element comprised in said product, wherein said product is configured to power itself on at a time point a notification should be executed, and to turn itself off upon completing to execute said notification instructions until another notification time point arrives to be executed, so as to consume minimal energy between executions of subsequent notifications; and a smart device comprising a dedicated software configured to allow recognition and connectivity of the smart device with said product so as to transmit notifications to said product to be executed according to a pre- defined manner.

A system and method may include receiving one or more characteristics of a product; automatically selecting, based on the characteristics, one or more physical components to be included in the product; automatically defining a firmware module configured to interface with the selected physical modules; and automatically generating a set of manufacturing specifications usable for manufacturing the product, wherein the product includes the selected physical components and the firmware module.

The invention is directed to a connected toy configured to interact with least one another connected toy upon actual meeting with said at least one another connected toy in a state that said toys are non-connected to a smart device, wherein said interaction allows the toy to recognize the at least one another toy and/or to exchange data with said at least one another toy, said recognition data and/or data exchanged between them is being saved on the toy and uploaded to a smart device upon reconnection of the toy to said smart device to report the smart device that an interaction between the toys has occurred, and to allow the smart device to make use of the exchanged data. The invention is further directed to a connected toys system configured to allow data transmission from a game occurring in the reality to a virtual game of the same connected toys.

The invention is directed to modular connected game board having a generic game board base and at least one identifiable object, the game board base is configured to allow recognition of the identity and the position of the at least one identifiable object on the game board base upon positioning of said at least one identifiable objects on the game board base, and wherein, an image of said identifiable object is displayed on a smart device in a respective position, said smart device comprising a software program for identifying the identifiable object, and activating or deactivating the interaction of the game board base, the smart device, and the identifiable object. The identifiable object may be either one of a replaceable topping adapted to be placed on said game board base, said topping constitutes a unique game display, or an interactive figure associated with said unique game display, or both. The invention is further directed to a modular game board system for providing interactive play with a smart device, comprising: a game board base configured and operable to communicate with at least smart device and with at least one interactive figure; at least one replaceable topping adapted to be placed onto said game board base, said toppings constitutes a unique game display; at least one interactive figure associated with said unique game display; a sensor configured for sensing the location of the at least one interactive figure; a processing unit configured for receiving the sensor signals and for determining the identity and the location of the interactive figure based on the signal; and a communication module configured for commanding a software running on a smart device to display an image of said interactive figure and/or said replaceable topping on said smart device in a respective position, and for commanding the software to activate or deactivate the image in accordance with operation of the interactive figures on the game board base.

The present invention is directed to a connected interactive book system adapted to provide a user at least one of a an entertaining, learning, and social experience, and combination thereof, said system comprising: a physical book, a smart device, and optionally an external supporting subsystem, wherein said smart device contains a dedicated software application or other solution allowing the user to utilize said physical book together with said smart device to obtain at least one of an entertaining and learning experience, and wherein said external supporting subsystem further allows the user to obtain said social experience via sharing of content created by the user upon learning and playing with said book system. The dedicated software application contained in said smart device comprises at least similar graphic illustrations as said physical book comprises and partial pieces of said graphic illustration thereof, and wherein said graphic illustrations and partial pieces thereof are used for creating games, stories and riddles.

The invention is directed to a connected toy device comprising at least one sensing element configured to provide a complementary data to a limited visual recognition data obtained from a camera, so as to obtain an accurate reflection of a real-time playing scene of a player with said connected toy device and allow production of a suitable response to the player on a smart device connected to said toy according to processing of the combined data obtained from said camera and the at least one sensing element. The invention is further directed to a connected toy system for obtaining an accurate reflection of a real-time playing scene of a player with a connected toy device, the system comprising: at least one connected toy devise having at least one sensing element configured to provide a complementary data to a limited visual recognition data obtained from a camera; and a smart device having at least a camera, a processing device and a dedicated software library, said smart device is configured to capture images of said playing scene by said camera process the data and combine the image data with data received from said at least one sensing element, and produce a suitable response on the smart device according to the data obtained from the camera and the sensing element reflecting a real time occurrence at the playing scene.

The subject matter disclosed herein is directed to a connected kitchen toy device configured to allow a player to imitate cooking in a real kitchen, wherein an action performed by the player on the kitchen toy device is identified by and creates a simultaneous reaction on a smart device connected to said kitchen toy and/or on the kitchen toy device itself. The kitchen toy device comprises at least one input element and one output element, and a communication module for allowing bi-directional communication between the kitchen toy and the smart device. The action performed by the player on the kitchen toy device is identified by at least one input element positioned on the kitchen toy and/or on the smart device, wherein the action results in creation of at least one output reaction on either one of said kitchen toy device, smart device, or on both. The action may be performed on at least one playing item positioned on the kitchen toy device or held in its vicinity, wherein the action performed by the player and the at least one playing item are both identified and displayed on the smart device and further create a reaction on either one of the kitchen toy device, the playing item, the smart device, and combinations thereof.
