A tractor-mounted agricultural sprayer includes a tank and a pair of foldable boom assemblies carried by a frame (20). Each one of the boom assemblies includes a set of mutually connected boom sections which are configurable in an operating configuration in which the boom sections extend transversely in an unfolded state, and in a transport configuration in which the boom sections are upright in a folded state. The tank has an external profile that comprises two upright recesses which accommodate the boom sections when the boom assemblies are in the transport configuration.

The invention relates to a rollable container (5.1) for storing, transporting and distributing a mass having little or no cohesion, for instance: liquides incorporating possibly solid constituents, such as liquid manure or fertilizer; or solid substances consisting of granules and/or powder. The invention has for its object to provide a container (5.1) of the type referred to in the preamble wherein the contact pressure with the ground is considerably reduced. Thereto the container (5.1) has the feature that the container is embodied as a hollow wheel, which is mounted via rotation bearings (5.34) for rotation in a frame (5.22) which is coupled or can be coupled by means of coupling means to a motor vehicle, for instance a tractor, the space in said wheel being sealingly connected via a rotation bearing (5.34) to a conduit (5.7) which is stationary relative to the frame (5.22) or at least occupies a substantially fixed position relative to the frame for supplying and discharging mass to and from the space, which wheel can roll over the ground during movement of the frame caused by the motor vehicle.

The present invention relates to a system (5) for filling a sprayer tank (11) with at least one liquid solution (E1, M2, M2'), including at least a first tank (80) containing a first liquid solution (M2) and a second tank (40) configured to contain a second liquid solution (E1), means (64, 94) for temporarily connecting the system (5) to the tank (11), means (75) for incorporating an active material (M1) into the first tank (80) or between the first tank and the connecting means, and pumping means (70) controlled by a control device (51) and configured to selectively fill the tank (11) with the liquid solution(s) (E1, M2, M2'). The system (5) also includes means (40, 50, 51, 70, 75, 80, 92) for preparing the first liquid solution (M2) in the first tank (80) by mixing the second solution (E1) and the active material (M1) in predetermined proportions (M1/E1). The means for preparing the first liquid solution (M2) include at least the means (75) for incorporating the active material (M1), which are positioned between the first tank (80) and the second tank (40), as well as agitation means (82) configured to ensure that the first liquid solution (M2) remains a suspension in the first tank (80).

A self-propelled agricultural application machine (10) comprising a chassis (100) which carries a storage tank (15) for the material to be applied is provided. The chassis (100) comprises a central longitudinal beam (110) from which at least a pair of wheels (12, 14) are suspended. The narrow chassis (100) allows steerable wheels to be positioned at tolerable track widths whilst permitting a large steering angle and thus small turning radii.

A product reservoir is provided that includes a flexible bag and a carton to receive and retain the flexible bag. The bag may contain liquid chemical substances that are dispensed from the bag through a bag spout. The product reservoir may serve as a component to a fluid delivery system, such as a direct injection system employed by agricultural seed planting machines. When the bag is connected to the direct injection system, the liquid substance is placed in fluid communication with a delivery device whereby the substance can be dispensed to a selected area for treatment. The liquid substance may be mixed in-line with water received from a water reservoir prior to being dispensed by the delivery device. The planting machine may be equipped with a plurality of product reservoirs. A method of applying a liquid pesticide to a selected area is also provided.

The device is provided to spray essentially liquids for the treatment of plants, but it can also spray solids in powder form and/or in suspension, for other uses, such as lubrication, waxing, etc. The device includes a tank (1) to which is coupled a flexible hose (3) carrying at its free end the spraying nozzle (6), said tank (1) being associated to a compressor (9) to maintain constant the pressure inside the tank, the compressor (9) being actuated by a motor (12) supplied by an electric battery (13), all of which being set in operation through a pressure switch (14) situated in the tank (1); when the pressure switch (14) detects a pressure drop within said tank (1), it starts the motor (12) and consequently the compressor (9) in order to send more pressure to said tank (1), thereby maintaining the product at a constant pressure so as to obtain a uniform spraying. The device may be mounted on wheels to facilitate its transportation, and is characterized in that the tank (1) may be comprised of two parts (21 and 22), coupled to each other, so that between said two parts there may be arranged an elastic membrane (29) determining two sealed compartments (30 and 31), the first one being intended to contain air and the second one containing the product to be spread.

Le couvercle pour système de pulvérisation multi-réservoir (21 , 22) est doté d'un système d'alimentation en fluide et comporte un corps de couvercle (1) doté de moyens de fixation (12) pour obturer de manière amovible un réservoir (21 , 22). Deux canaux (20, 30) de passage d'un fluide sont prévus, un premier canal de passage (20) pour un organe de pressurisation (2) du réservoir (21 , 22), un second canal (30) pour une soupape de sécurité (3) solidaire du corps de couvercle (1). Un troisième canal (40) pour l'alimentation de moyens de pulvérisation (5, 50) par un raccord d'alimentation (4) peut être également solidaire du corps du couvercle (1), ce dernier canal pouvant aussi être situé sur la partie inférieure du réservoir. Au moins l'organe de pressurisation (2) et la soupape de sûreté (3) sont fixés de manière amovible au corps de couvercle (1), ce qui facilite l'entretien et le remplacement des pièces.
