    摘要: An electromagnetic wave sensor (100)for determining a hydration statusof a body tissue (10) in vivocomprises an electromagnetic wave transmitter unit (120), a waveguide unit (110), and an electromagnetic wave receiver unit (130). The electromagnetic wave transmitter unit (120) is configured to emit an electromagnetic wave signal in a frequency range between 1 Hz and 1THz. The waveguide unit (110) is coupled to theelectromagnetic wave transmitter unit (120). The waveguide unit (110) is adapted to be arranged next to the body tissue (10) such that a fringe field (FF) of the electromagnetic wave signal guided by the waveguide unit (110) penetrates the body tissue (10). The electromagnetic wave receiver unit (130) is coupled to the waveguide unit (110). The electromagnetic wave receiver unit (130) is configured to receive the electromagnetic wave signal modified by the body tissue (10) in dependence of the hydration status of the body tissue (10).
