Abstract:
A system, method and apparatus for managing a football match on a hand held computerized device is presented. The hand held computerized devices includes a first display screen disposed substantially opposite a second display screen. Pre-match information for a first team and a second team are entered into the hand held computer device. Match related events, such as goals, penalties and substitutions are entered on the hand held computer device. The device compiles match events and said pre-match information into a match log, and wirelessly transmits the match log to a receiver, such as a match following device.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a portable, collapsible enclosure for use with a portable game console or computer for playing video games on a large screen television where the game involves tracking the position and movement of a moving object. The enclosure has a fabric cover and a frame which is movable between a collapsed position whereby the enclosure may be easily stored and an expanded position for playing a game. The fabric cover of the enclosure in the expanded position has an open front, side and top walls and a rear wall. The rear wall is provided as a netting material which is selected to arrest the movement of a moving object projected into the enclosure through the open front, while permitting a user to observe an image displayed on a large screen television placed to the rear or side of the enclosure.
Abstract:
A disc jockey music-based video game with a controller for the same. The disc jockey music-based video game presents instructive cues for manipulation of the controller and evaluates game player's performance based on the player's compliance with the instructive cues. A display with visual indicators of instructive cues and visual indicators representing player performance may be provided. Additionally, other forms of game player feedback may be provided, for example music, simulated crowd response other forms of generally auditory cues.
Abstract:
A motion platform configured as automobile racing vehicle simulator is disclosed. The apparatus that embodies the geometry and various methods of articulation related to a motion platform having advantageous geometric relationships are also set forth. In one embodiment enhanced performance of a motion-generating device having a rider or driver is accomplished through the location of the center of mass of a payload as near as practicable to the pivotal center of the payload support. The device has a base supporting an upstanding column and a sled pivotally mounted to the top of the column. The rider is accommodated on the sled. To achieve the event simulated results intended various acts are performed in configuring the motion platform. These include locating a pivotal center of motion on a column in a position above the base of the motion generating device; locating the position of a center of mass, the center of mass calculated from the mass of the sled and the mass of a rider accommodated on the sled; and mounting the sled on the pivotal center of motion of the device such that the located center of mass is close to the pivotal center of motion of the motion platform.
Abstract:
The invention provides a unique interactive play experience carried out utilizing a toy "wand" 100 and/or other actuation/tracking device. In one embodiment the wand 100 incorporates a wireless transmitter and motion-sensitive circuitry adapted to actuate the transmitter in response to particular learned wand motions. The wand 100 allows play participants to electronically and "magically" interact with their surrounding play environment simply by pointing, touching and/or using their wands 100 in a particular manner to achieve desired goals or produce desired effects. Various wireless receivers or actuators are distributed throughout the play facility to support such wireless interaction and to facilitate full immersion in a fantasy experience in which participants can enjoy the realistic illusion of practicing, performing and mastering "real" magic.
Abstract:
The invention provides a seat including a base having a front and a rear, a back portion extending upwards from or proximate from the rear of the base, and one or more speakers mounted to the back portion of the seat. The seat is preferably adapted for use with computer games and/or simulations. A framework for supporting the seat and/or one or peripheral elements is also provided. Methods and system which enable users to against one another are also provided.
