    摘要: A kitchen wastewater treatment device for removing oil, fat and grease from kitchen wastewater has a mechanical filter (3) to filter out solid matter from the raw wastewater. The wastewater flows from an inlet (1) through the filter (3) and into a primary chamber (25) and a secondary chamber (26) divided by an internal baffle plate (6) that extends upwardly from a base of the vessel. The wastewater with reduced oil, fat and grease exits through a discharge rise pipe (9) while the oil, fat and grease layer is separated from the wastewater by a holding chamber and extracted out of the device through a hose (17). Small solid food waste and small miscellaneous solid materials can be removed from the discharge of kitchen sinks at cafes, eateries and the like and disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner. Fat, oil and grease waste can be trapped and removed, followed by separation from the wastewater and converted into usable value-added materials.

    摘要: A separation tank with an outer chamber and an inner chamber within the outer chamber. An inlet and outlet are formed in the outer chamber to receive and discharge water, respectively. An inlet opening is located in the inner chamber and is generally aligned with the inlet to receive water from the inlet. An outlet opening is formed in the inner chamber below the inlet opening but above the bottom of the inner chamber. The inner chamber has a cylindrical interior surface such that water from the inlet is directed at a tangent to the interior surface and forms a vortex as the water progresses through the inner chamber. A baffle plate having an opening forming upper and lower weirs is located within the outer chamber just upstream of the outlet to separate both floatable and non-floatable material from the water prior to its discharge.

The slurry opening (12C) is displaced laterally relative to the generally vertical axis (30) of the stirrer (20) and the slurry inlet means is configured to allow the fresh slurry to enter the slurry body without accumulating solids from the fresh slurry at the slurry opening.

    摘要: A floating pond skimmer is coupled by a fluid conduit to a remote filter/aerating apparatus. The skimmer sucks a mixture of solids and water, grinds/chops the solids, and pumps the reduced solids and water through the conduit to the filter/aerating apparatus which separates the solids from the mixture and aerates the water from the mixture. The floating skimmer preferably includes a vortex chamber, an on-board pump with a grinding impeller, an adjustable ballast, and an anchor. The filter/aerating apparatus includes an inclined screen and a drain tray beneath the inclined screen coupled to a water discharge conduit. Optionally, an aeration pump is coupled to the discharge conduit. Also optionally, a removable solid waste hopper is located at the lower end of the inclined screen. Otherwise the solid waste simply falls into a compost pile at the bottom of the inclined screen.

    摘要: An apparatus for clarifying raw water containing suspended particulate matter comprises an upright conduit (1) with diameters increasing from an inlet for raw water at the top to an exit for clear water at the bottom. The inlet raw water is dosed with coagulant and/or flocculant and aerated with fine air bubbles before entry into the conduit. The bubbles become attached to flocs as they form in the upper part of the conduit. As the liquid descends in the conduit, the flaw velocity decreases enabling the flocs to float counter to the water stream and form a floating body within the conduit which functions as a filter medium. Clear water flows out of the conduit under an underflow weir and the outflowing clear water is raised by an exit duct to a level ensuring the duct remains full of water. Accumulated material is extracted from the bottom of the body through a co-axial discharge duct at a rate substantially equal to the rate of increase of fresh material from the influent raw water so that a steady state condition is achieved.
