摘要: A method of deploying a containment boom is provided whereby an elongated material such as a sheet, yam, or yarn bundle, is formed into a roll and the material is pulled from the interior of the roll to create a helical structure. A pull rope is threaded through the interior of the roll and is deployed along with the material, such that the material is wrapped around the pull rope. The pull rope prevents the boom from stretching and distorting the helical structure formed by the material, as well as preventing the material from self-wringing. Multiple rolls of material may be provided in a single boom package arranged in coaxial alignment. When the materials are connected in parallel, they are integrated into a single boom having concentrically wrapped materials, thereby providing for greater stability and functionality.

摘要: A method for reducing nitrates, nitrites, and/or hydroxylaminc in water using a homogeneous reduced copper tetra-substituted fluorinated pinacolate ligand catalyst complex. The method includes dissolving a copper(II) tetra-substituted fluorinated pinacolate ligand pre-catalyst complex in water having an excess amount of nitrates, nitrites, and/or hydroxylamine therein. The dissolved copper(II) tetra-substituted fluorinated pinacolate ligand pre-catalyst complex in the water is subjected to electrochemical reduction to form a homogeneous reduced copper tetra-substituted fluorinated pinacolate ligand catalyst complex. The homogeneous reduced copper tetra-substituted fluorinated pinacolate ligand catalyst complex reduces the nitrates, nitrites, and/or hydroxylamine in the water to compounds with nitrogen in a lower oxidation state with the homogeneous reduced copper tetra-substituted fluorinated pinacolate ligand catalyst complex.

摘要: The present invention describes an apparatus called the Fine Particle Shortwave Thrombotic Agglomeration Reactor (FPSTAR), which extracts waste from water without the need to add chemicals. The unprocessed water will be pulse fed to the reactor core having a Turbuliser. When Shortwave Resonance of different frequencies and high power is delivered to these reactors, soluble monomeric and polymeric complexes are formed. The finer particles that are present in the water substrate are subject to a special technique, which enables these particles to collide and agglomerate to form larger and heavier particles called Thrombus (clots). The liquid containing the clots is Thrombised liquid which is pumped through appropriate filtering systems to separate the clotted mass from the liquid. The reactor is used to decontaminate unprocessed water streams for reuse in the industry and other purposes and reduces the cost of water treatment, which also finds use in Oil and Mining Industries.
