Abstract:
A method for manufacturing the cushioning elements may include utilizing a die with a plurality of die elements positioned in a particular arrangement. A polymer material, which may be a polymer foam material, is located between the die and an extractor. The polymer material is compressed between the die and the extractor, and the die elements cut the polymer material to form a plurality of pad components, which are arranged like the die elements. The die and the extractor are separated, and the pad components are secured to the extractor in the arrangement of the die elements. Additionally, the pad components are bonded to at least one material layer such that the pad components remain in the arrangement of the die elements.
Abstract:
A method for manufacturing the cushioning elements (200) may include utilizing a die (310) with a plurality of die elements (312) positioned in a particular arrangement. A polymer material, which may be a polymer foam material, is located between the die (310) and an extractor (320). The polymer material is compressed between the die (310) and the extractor (320), and the die elements (312) cut the polymer material to form a plurality of pad components (230), which are arranged like the die elements (312). The die (310) and the extractor (320) are separated, and the pad components (230) are secured to the extractor (320) in the arrangement of the die elements (312). Additionally, the pad components (230) are bonded to at least one material layer (210, 220) such that the pad components remain in the arrangement of the die elements.
Abstract:
A framing device (10), used for displaying items such as photographs, certificates and the like, includes a translucent sheet-like material (12) having an outward side (14) and an inward side (16), both having a common continuous edge (20). An adhesive (22) is applied along the inward side (16) adjacent to the continuous edge (20) in such a manner that a portion of such edge (20) remains adhesive-free. A sheet of backing material (18) has a first side (30) and a second side (32) and the first side (30) of such foam is positionally secured by the adhesive (22) and with respect to the translucent material (12). And a release liner (34) is attached to the second side (32) of the backing material (18). The adhsive-free portion of the edge (20) and the sheet of the backing material (18) define a slot permitting insertion and removal of an item to be displayed.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a display device (1) having a stand (3) which is comprised of a plastic upper part (4) and a plastic lower part (5) coupled to each other via ultrasonic welding method.
