摘要:

The invention relates to a lining element (10) for the repair of a connection area between a main pipe and a branch pipe, comprising a layer of resin- absorbing material. In a first variant, at least three flexible, expandable lining parts (20) are connected to each other by at least three connections (28) to form the lining element. To manufacture such a lining element, the at least three flexible, expandable lining parts are provided and connected to each other by means of at least three connections to form the lining element. Furthermore, the invention relates to another lining element (100), comprising at least one lining part (102) having a layer of resin - absorbing material, which has a tubular preform, and which is deformable by means of heat and/or forming to achieve a tubular final form. To manufacture such a lining element, at least one tubularly preformed lining part is provided having a layer of resin - absorbing material in a tubular preform, and then the tubularly preformed lining part is deformed by means of temperature and/or forming to form the final shape.

A pipe liner (2) comprises an inner surface (6) defining a flow conduit (8) with a centre line (12) which follows a helical path, so as to induce swirling of flow along the conduit (8) in use, the pipe liner (2) having a central longitudinal axis (14) about which the centre line (12) of the flow conduit (8) follows said helical path, and an outer surface (10) with a radially outermost portion or radially outermost portions which in cross-section define (s) a circle with the centre of the circle lying on said central longitudinal axis (14). A pipe liner (2) comprises an inner surface (6) defining a flow conduit (8) with a centre line (12) which follows a helical path, so as to induce swirling of flow along the conduit (8) in use, the pipe liner (2) having an upstream end and the curvature of the helical centre line (12) increasing in a downstream direction, away from the upstream end.

The present disclosure relates to flexible, three-dimensional injection blow molded or injection stretch blow molded liners for use in overpacks, bottles, containers, etc. and methods for manufacturing the same. A method for manufacturing a liner may include injecting a polymeric material into a preform mold die to form a preform, blow molding the preform to form the liner, collapsing the liner and positioning the liner in an overpack, and inflating the liner. A fluoropolymer may be used for the preform. A liner may comprise a flexible body that substantially conforms to the interior of an overpack and a fitment port integral with the flexible body. The flexible body may be adapted to be removably inserted into the overpack by collapsing the flexible body, inserting the flexible body into the overpack, and re-inflating the flexible body inside the overpack. The flexible body may comprise a fluoropolymer and may comprise multiple layers.

A resin impregnated cured in place liner having an everted outer impermeable coating is provided. A roll of a continuous length of resin impregnable material is formed into a tube. An impermeable film or wrapping is formed into a tube about a tubular former, sealed and continuously everted about the inner tubular member travelling in an opposite direction so that the everted wrapping envelopes the inner tubular member. Alternatively, the inner tubular member may be passed into a stuffer tube having an impermeable tube thereon that is everted onto the moving tubular member to encapsulate the inner tubular member. The inner tubular member may be passed through an open resin impregnation tank to impregnate the impregnable material prior to everting the outer layer thereon. The inner tubular member may have an inner layer of impermeable material bonded thereto. It may be formed into a tube with the impermeable layer on the outside and continuously everted to place the impermeable layer on the inside of the tube.

A longitudinally reinforced resin impregnated cured in place liner (21) with a reinforcing scrim (33) to limit longitudinal stretch is provided. A continuous length of resin impregnable tube is provided in lay flat condition and impregnated and a scrim (33) having greater strength in the warp direction than in the weft direction is placed on a portion of the bottom of the tube that is then feed into a tubular former where an impermeable film (31) is formed into a tube sealed and continuously everted about the inner tubular member and scrim travelling in an opposite direction so that the everted wrapping envelopes the tubular member. The reinforced tube may have an integral inner impermeable layer that is installed in an existing pipeline by the pull-in-and inflate method.

To form a continuous length of flexible sheet material from which a tubular product may be produced a plurality of individual lengths (L1, L2) are secured together end to end. Adjacent ends of adjacent lengths are cut at an angle other than 90 DEG , preferably 30-60 DEG , more preferably 45 DEG , to the lengthwise dimension such that when the tube is formed a spiral-shaped joint is formed. The joint (J1, J2) may be stitched, bonded or welded, the latter being preferred where the sheet material is e.g. a non-woven fabric with a backer layer laminated to one side; in such case a strip of the same material as the backer may be applied to the lengthwise edges of the backer and be welded to it.

The invention provides that lignocellulosic materials, in particular natural fibres such as jute, are used with, preferably dispersed throughout, curable synthetic resin in sheet structures, especially tubular structures. These structures are used for making pipes, or for lining existing pipes and passageways, especially undergroung passageways, namely sewers, by inflating the structure whilst it is still flexible (i.e. resin still uncured) into a pipe or onto the surface of the pipe to be lined, followed by the curing of the resin to form a rigid pipe or lining. The fibres used are acetylated (pre-treated with acetic anhydride) as this provides that the fibres become degradation-resistant, but more particularly, they bond to the resin with great tenacity which enhances the resulting cured resin strength at a reduced cost, compared to conventional tubular structures for lining operations (used in great numbers), which heretofore have used synthetic fibres in the resin.

The invention relates to a process for making a tubular cladding hose (20), especially for use in duct rehabilitation work, in which at least one fibre belt is shaped into a curable, resin-impregnated hose. The inside of the cladding hose thus produced is lined with a protective film. It is the purpose of the present invention to provide a process for making a tubular cladding hose in which any lengths of hose can easily be produced. This is achieved in that a strip of film (24) is helically wound around a spindle (1) to make the protective film liner, on which the fibre belt (25) is wound. The invention also relates to devices for implementing the process and the cladding hose itself.
