The said at least one compact electro-pneumatic assembly (Gl, G2) also has at least one (first) additional pneumatic circuit (PNCm) connected to the communication and control unit (ECU) and able to control the pneumatic suspension systems (VSS) of the vehicle, driving in a predetermined manner actuator devices (PS) associated with the suspension systems, so as to selectively be able to keep the vehicle body at a predetermined height from the rail level or vary the height of the vehicle body from the rail level or also vary the inclination of the vehicle body relative to the rail level .
Abstract:
The invention relates to a suspension bracket for suspending a vehicle body (10) over a spring (20) onto a wheel set (30), comprising a support body (40) having an upper end surface (50) for connecting to the vehicle body and, at a lower end, a bolt eye (60) for engaging connection means for connecting to the spring (20). The suspension bracket has a lateral stop (70) protruding from the support body (40) at suspension side (80), which lateral stop (70) comprises an elongated reinforcement member (90) extending the lateral stop (70) into the support body (40). The lateral stop (70) extends to engage a stopping surface on the suspension system on one or both lateral sides to limit lateral movements of the vehicle body relative to the wheel set. The lateral forces are transmitted to the elongated reinforcement member (90) extending the lateral stop (70) into the support body (40). In a further aspect, the invention relates to a wagon and wagon suspension comprising the suspension bracket according to the invention, in particular in arrangement with a weighing device for automatic load-dependent brake adjustment of the wagon.

A lateral suspension assembly for a guided vehicle system (10) includes a pair of lateral wheel housings (42, 44) each including a lateral wheel (46, 48) rotatable about spaced vertical axes for engaging spaced opposing guide rails (60, 62) of the guided system; a lateral limit link for limiting outward travel of the lateral wheels beyond a predetermined limit; a pair of spaced support arms (86, 88) pivotably attached at one end to the guided vehicle (12) and at the other to the lateral wheel housings; and a biasing device (64) interconnected with each of the wheel housings for urging the lateral wheels in contact with the guide rails.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to pressure sensing and weight recording devices for trucks, tractors, trains, cargo cars, ships and shipping containers, trailers, buses, airplanes and vehicles in general, and more particularly to the Vehicle Information Systems On-board Recorder (VISOR) (10). The VISOR (10) is a tamper-proof a data processor that is portable, affordable and easily installed on the chassis (5) or comparable structure. It is connected to auxiliary pressure sensing units (3, 4 to N) and a monitor in the truck cab. Accurate weight measurement and changes in cargo load and distribution, plus traffic safety matters such as speed are registered in memory by the VISOR (10). The VISOR (10), like the "black box" of an airplane is tamper-proof and accessible only by a password, to appropriate authorities.
Abstract:
A pneumatic suspension system for a vehicle includes an air spring mounted between a pair of spaced movable components of the vehicle. The air spring has a piston and an end plate sealingly connected to opposite open ends of an intervening flexible sleeve which forms a fluid chamber. The piston is mounted on one of the vehicle components by some type of mechanical fasteners and the end plate is secured to the other vehicle component by an adhesive to eliminate the need for mechanical fasteners or brackets.
