A composite tailgate comprising an interior panel (1) and an exterior panel is disclosed. The interior panel (1) comprises a window frame (11) and a main body (12) located below the window frame (11) that are formed integrally. The main body (12) comprising a main body upper traverse (121), a connecting structure (122), and a main body lower traverse (123) that are provided successively from top to bottom. The connecting structure (122) comprises a left inverted V-shaped structure (122a), a right inverted V-shaped structure (122c), and a lock-latch reinforcing plate (122b) there between. The main body upper traverse (121) is connected with the main body lower traverse (123) by the left inverted V-shaped structure (122a) and the right inverted V-shaped structure (122c).

The inner lining (101) and the outer structural reinforcement (102) are configured and assembled to each other so as to together define a hollow body providing the opening panel (10) with strength against outside impacts, in particular front and side impacts applied to the side door.

In an embodiment, a method for making the side door for a vehicle can comprise: flow molding a fiber-reinforced polymer over a fiber strip to form a plastic inner shell; flow molding a fiber-reinforced polymer over a fiber strip deposited to form a plastic outer shell, wherein the outer shell comprises an outer shell support beam positioned across a width of the outer shell; and joining the inner shell and the outer shell together to form a composite structure.

The door member (1) includes a door seal mounting channel (3) for receiving a mounting portion (19) of a door seal (13). The door seal mounting channel (3) has first and second sidewalls (5, 7). A first projection (11) is optionally provided on the first sidewall (5) for engaging the mounting portion (19) of the door seal (13). The invention also relates to a door member (101) having an inner finisher (165) and an outer finisher (147). The invention further relates to a vehicle door (43) including a door member (1; 101) of the type described herein.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Trägervorrichtung für ein Kraftfahrzeug, mit einem Basisträger (1), der zu einem wesentlichen Teil durch ein Organoblech gebildet ist und der sich entlang einer Hauptebene (H) erstreckt, wobei der Basisträger (1) wenigstens eine Auftrennung aufweist, an der ein Materialbereich (12, 12a, 12b) unter Bildung wenigstens eines Freiraums (13, 14, 15a, 15b, 18, 18a, 18b) aus der Hauptebene (H) heraus geformt ist, so dass dieser Materialbereich (12, 12a, 12b) mit wenigstens einem Abschnitt zu einem angrenzenden Bereich des Basisträgers (1) beabstandet ist, wobei der wenigstens eine Freiraum (13, 14, 15a, 15b, 18, 18a, 18b) zumindest teilweise derart mit einer Anspritzung (21, 21a, 21b, 22, 23, 23a, 23b, 242, 243) aus thermoplastischem Kunststoffmaterial und/oder einem separaten Einsatzelement (33, 34) gefüllt ist, dass der Abschnitt des herausgeformten Materialbereichs (12, 12a, 12b) und der angrenzende Bereich hierüber miteinander verbunden sind. Disclosed is a stiffening panel (12) for a motor vehicle door (10), in particular a motor vehicle side door. Said stiffening panel is arranged between a structure (100) of the door (10), said structure (100) being made especially of plastic, being located on the side of the passenger compartment of the vehicle and being designed to absorb the majority of the external impacts on the door (10), in particular front and side impacts on the side door, and at least one decorative outer panel (11) which is made especially of plastic and is mounted on the structure (100). The stiffening panel (12) is made from a plastic material and is designed to stiffen the decorative outer panel (11) so as to enable the outer panel (11) to withstand external impacts on the door (10) from the opposite side of the passenger compartment.
