Abstract:
Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to extracting the liquid from a container (such as a bottle of wine) in varying amounts at a desired serving temperature while preserving the liquid for later consumption. Various embodiments may be built within an appliance so the consumer experience is fully automated. Embodiments may include a variety of wine preservation techniques including the use of inert gases that prevent the oxidation of wine.
Abstract:

Abstract:
Beverage dispensing apparatus comprising a self - regulating flow rate control means (5). It comprises: A pressurized container (30, 31) containing a beverage to be dispensed; A dispensing duct (1) defined by at least one wall and bringing in fluid communication the liquid beverage contained in the container through a first opening (1a) with the exterior via a valve (35) and out of a second opening (1b), for drawing beverage out of the container. At least a section (3) of the wall defining the dispensing duct is resiliently flexible and is such that its inner surface, facing the interior of the dispensing duct, is exposed to the pressure, P1, reigning in the duct at that level, and its outer surface, facing out of the duct is exposed to a pressure, P2, substantially equal to the pressure reigning in the container, the resiliently flexible section (3) being suitable for maintaining a substantially constant dispensing flow rate over a given range of operating pressure values, P2, in the container.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a Modular Liquid Infusing, Flavoring and Dispensing Device that provides a means to infuse flavor into liquids for variable periods of time prior to dispensing, and after the brewing process, wherein the system provides a means to control the rate at which the liquid is dispensed, reduces the trauma to the dispensed liquid, and reduces the amount of foaming in the dispensed liquid. The present invention further provides a method for using the Modular Liquid Infusing, Flavoring, and Dispensing Device.
Abstract:
A beverage storage apparatus including an outer container housing an internal flexible and collapsible bladder serving to hold the beverage and a means to regulate the pressure of gas in a head space between the outer container and the internal bladder. The apparatus can further dispense fluid such as beverages whereupon the bladder is under pressure to assist in dispensing the fluid and by use of an appropriate gas maintain the composition of the beverage.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a dispensing device (1) for a dispensing system to be used in connection with a dispensing of a beverage, said system comprising a beverage container (2), said container (2) comprising an outlet wherein an extractor tube (15) is arranged, a pressure medium, such as CO 2 , which is adapted to force the beverage via the extractor tube out of the container, a cooling device adapted to cool the beverage in the container. The dispensing device (1) further comprises temperature control means (10), which is adapted to disconnect dispensing of the beverage when the temperature of the beverage exceeds a predetermined value.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a beverage dispensing system comprising at least one beverage dispensing container, a computing device and a base unit upon or within which, in use, the at least one container is positioned. The at least one container comprises a reservoir of beverage, a communication element having storage means storing data indicative of the contents of the beverage dispensing container, a manually actuatable dispensing valve for selectively controlling the flow of beverage from the reservoir to a container outlet, and pressurising means arranged to pressurise the beverage against the dispensing valve such that when the dispensing valve is opened beverage flows from the reservoir and out of the container outlet. The base unit comprises at least one base-container transceiver for wirelessly reading data from and writing data to the communication element, at least one base-device transceiver for wirelessly communicating with the computing device, and a control unit for controlling the communication of data from the computing device to the communication element and vice-versa. The system is particularly suitable for storing and dispensing alcoholic beverages. RFID or NFC tags or labels and readers are used.
Abstract:
Combination of a container (1) for a liquid foodstuff and a quantity of propellant (2) to put the container (1) under pressure in order to make the foodstuff flow out of the container (1) via an opening (11), characterised in that at a temperature of 5°C the propellant (2) has a vapour pressure greater than 115 kPa and at a temperature of 25°C has a vapour pressure of less than 1000 kPa.
