L'invention concerne une composition, stérilisée, comprenant au moins un acide hyaluronique ou l'un de ses sels biologiquement acceptables, seuls ou en mélange et de l'ascorbyl phosphate de magnésium à un ratio massique entre la teneur en acide hyaluronique ou l'un de ses sels [HA] et la teneur en ascorbyl phosphate de magnésium [MAP], [HA]/[MAP] supérieur ou égal à 1, la teneur en ascorbyl phosphate de magnésium étant comprise entre 0,001 et 1 % en poids par rapport au poids total de ladite composition dont la composante élastique G' est conservée ou améliorée après stérilisation et est comprise entre 5 et 400 Pa. Elle concerne également une composition selon l'invention qui comprend en outre de la diméthyl sulfone, leurs procédés de préparation et leurs utilisations.

Flavan-based and spirodichroman compound-based phosphate esters prepared by reacting flavans and spirodichroman compounds with phosphorus oxychloride, monophenyl dichlorophosphate, or diphenyl chlorophosphate compounds are described. The flavans and spirodichroman compounds can be synthesized by the reaction of resorcinol with aliphatic acetone. Such phosphate esters can be used as flame retardants.

Fiber composites are disclosed that have flame-resistant properties. The fiber composites can contain relatively long fibers having a fiber length of greater than 3 mm. The composites, in one embodiment, can be formed through a pultrusion process to produce continuous structures or pellets having a length of greater than 3 mm. The pellets can then be used to mold articles. In accordance with the present disclosure, the flame retardant composition contains a nitrogen and phosphorus compound, such as a pyrophosphate. The flame retardant is intumescent and can be halogen-free. The flame retardant composition can also be free of any flame suppressant.

It is disclosed Guanosine 5'-Diphosphate (GDP) crosslinked chitosan sponge or gelling composition which is used as a scaffold for tissue regeneration applications such as neural, cardiac, cartilage and bone regeneration. In addition, the sponge acts as a drug delivery system to provide local controlled drug release, such as delivering anti-cancer drugs locally at the tumor site.

Paint formulations are neutralized with a non-VOC neutralizing agent. The neutralizing agent is a neutralized amino acid or intermediate, an amino phosphate, an amino phosphonate, amino sulfate, or amino sulfonate wherein the neutralizing agent has a pKa 2 of at least 9. These neutralizing agents can be used to provide a paint formulation within a pH range of 8 to 10 and do not add any volatile organic compounds to the paint formulation.
