摘要:
A method for accelerating oxidation of a lipid composition for a use in the preparation of food flavoring compositions, wherein the oxidation is accelerated due to the presence of a seaweed in the reaction mixture. The activated lipid composition can be used for food products, condiments, sauces, gravies, ready-to-eat food products, beverage products or noodle products.

Embodiments of methods for co-production of linear alkylbenzene and oleochemicals from a natural oil are provided. An exemplary method includes fat splitting the natural oil to form a stream comprising free fatty chains. The method includes fractionating the stream of free fatty chains to separate a first portion of free fatty chains and a second portion of free fatty chains. Further, the method includes processing the first portion of free fatty chains to provide the alkylbenzene product and processing the second portion of free fatty chains to form the oleochemical products.

The present invention relates to a process for easily and efficiently preparing triglyceride oil containing high concentration of polyunsaturated fatty acids by reacting highly purified polyunsaturated fatty acid ethyl ester oil with glycerol in the presence of an enzyme, and a composition for ameliorating or alleviating symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis comprising triglyceride oil containing high concentration of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) prepared by the process.
摘要:
A process for producing alpha - and omega -hydroxy fatty acids by treating lanolin fatty acids with boric acid to esterify hydroxy fatty acids contained therein, distilling the reaction product in a vacuum to separate and purify the borates of the hydroxy fatty acids and non-hydroxy fatty acids, hydrolyzing the purified borates, and distilling the hydrolyzate; each of the lanolin fatty acids and esters thereof thus obtained; and cosmetics and external preparations prepared therefrom. The invention process provides light-colored, nearly odorless lanolin fatty acids readily and efficiently on an industrial scale, and the obtained acids can be utilized in the fields of medicines and cosmetics.

The present disclosure provides for a method of reducing the amount of saturated fatty acids in a fatty acid mixture, such as tall oil fatty acids (TOFA). The method includes admixing the fatty acid mixture and an organic nitrile, e.g., acetonitrile; adding a co-solvent (e.g., an organic co-solvent) to the fatty acid-acetonitrile mixture; and isolating a treated fatty acid. The present disclosure further relates to methods of producing a petroleum product with a lubricity additive comprising fatty acids treated according to the methods herein, which are enriched for unsaturated fatty acids.

The invention relates to a process for making a bio-diesel and a bio-naphtha from a complex mixture of natural occurring fats & oils, wherein said complex mixture is optionally subjected to a refining treatment for removing the major part of the non-triglyceride and non-fatty acid components, thereby obtaining refined oils; said complex mixture or refined oils are subjected to a hydrolysis step for obtaining glycerol and a mixture of free fatty acids; said mixture of free fatty acids are subjected to a fractionation step for obtaining: a liquid or substantially liquid free fatty acids part (phase L); and a solid or substantially solid free fatty acids part (phase S); and said phase L is transformed into alkyl-esters as bio-diesel by an esterification; said phase S is transformed into linear or substantially linear paraffins as the bio-naphtha: by hydrodeoxygenation or decarboxylation of the free fatty acids; or from said phase S are obtained fatty acids soaps that are transformed into linear or substantially linear paraffins as the bio-naphtha by decarboxylation of the soaps.
