    摘要: Aromatic by-products are sorbed from mono-olefin-containing feedstocks (102) of olefins having from 6 to 22 carbon atoms per molecule that contain aromatic by products having from 7 to 22 carbon atoms per molecule. A benzene-containing regenerent (118) displaces and desorbs the aromatic by-products from the sorbent and a regeneration effluent (122) is provided. The regeneration effluent (122) is treated in a regeneration effluent distillation system (124) to provide a benzene-rich stream (142) and an aromatic by-products-containing stream (126). The latter (126) is subjected to benzene-forming conditions and recycled to the regeneration effluent distillation system (124) where benzene is recovered.

    摘要: A process is presented for increasing the conversion efficiency of oxygenates to olefins. The conversion of oxygenates recycles unconverted oxygenates and oxygenate by-products to a second reactor unit. The present of oxygenate by-products decreases the efficiency of the methanol to olefins reaction, and passing recycled oxygenates to a second reactor unit maintains the methanol to olefins conversion efficiency while converting the by-products in a secondary zone.
