The present invention relates to a machine for making solid as well hollow interlocking and interfitting masonry units and masonry system for semi-automated masonry construction. Self-alignment and self-adjustment of the masonry units is achieved due to its interlocking and interfitting features resulting in a gap all around two masonry units within their width which are interconnected throughout the masonry work enabling bonding of masonry units by pumping cement and water slurry from one or more points. The present invention also relates to masonry unit for making formwork for columns and shear walls and also to masonry units for L, Tand + joints in masonry work produced by modifying moulds in above referenced machines. The present invention also relates to machine to manufacture masonry units of any dimensions depending on its requirement out of a suitable combination of materials such as cement, lime, gypsum, fly ash, sand, dust of stone etc.

An insulated concrete form has: a first side wall portion; a second side wall portion substantially parallel with said first side wall portion; and a pillar portion extending between said the side wall portions. The pillar portion has: a first tapered section; a second tapered section; and a center section extending between said tapered sections. The first tapered section, the second tapered section and the center section each have an octagonal-shaped longitudinal cross-section. The insulated concrete form may include a plurality of pillar portions extending between the side wall portions, with the plurality of pillar portions being substantially parallel with each other. A wall structure may be formed from a plurality of such insulated concrete forms. A mold for forming an insulated concrete form, has: a first side plate and a second side plate; a slave pallet element supported by a frame and abutting a lower portion of interior sides of the side plates; and a first spine member and a second spine member attached to the side plates. The first side plate and the second side plate, along with the first spine member and the second spine member, may be pulled horizontally outward to clear the mold cavity.

A system and method for light steel frame construction which utilizes a single type of material for panels and fill to produce an affordable, thermally efficient, strong and durable building. The system and method for light steel frame construction generally includes a light steel frame to which is secured a plurality of outer block panels and inner block panels via fasteners. Each of the block panels is made of a porous concrete mix which is pre-cured and cut to form the rectangular panels. Gaps between the outer and inner block panels is filled with a fill material, the fill material being formed of a dry mix porous concrete which is mixed with water on-site and pumped into the gaps before being allowed to expand and cure. Adhesive materials may be applied to the panels to fill gaps and secure the panels to each other.

The invention comprises connector for a pair of opposed spaced concrete forming panels. The connector comprises an elongate spacer member having flanges formed thereon intermediate a central portion thereof and each opposite end thereof. A portion of at least one end of the spacer member is sized and shaped to selectively engage an elongate panel bracing member. A composite insulated concrete form and a method of using the insulated concrete form are also disclosed.

La presente invención se refiere a un sistema constructivo modular para edificaciones con revestimiento decorativo en piedra natural o artificial de aplicación directa en la industria de la construcción para todo tipo de edificaciones, con avances del estado de la técnica conocidos a la fecha, más específicamente se refiere a un nuevo tipo de prefabricado, formado por un conjunto de moldes estructurales permanentes con revestimiento decorativo, obtenidos por un proceso de extrusión polimérica termoplástica y atraves de un proceso con temperatura y presión ejercida sobre los moldes para la adherencia del revestimiento decorativo. El conjunto de moldes estructurales permanentes caracterizados por comprender anchura, altura y geometría definida, en sus extremos comprenden rieles de ensamble del tipo machihembrado, de tal forma que la hendidura del riel hembra y el saliente del riel macho son encajados con exactitud, al ensamblar continuamente el conjunto de moldes estructurales se forma un arreglo estructural de cimbra permanente para muros con revestimiento decorativo en su superficie anterior y posterior, en el interior de la estructura de pared se forman una pluralidad de cavidades comunicadas entre sí, en las cuales se verte concreto, o algún tipo de agregado o algún material aislante o la combinación de estos materiales.

L'invention est plus particulièrement applicable dans le domaine de la fabrication de blocs de coffrage isolants.
